Jack Hemminger started Hemminger Mobile Home Service in 1972. The name was slightly changed to Hemminger Homes which is currently incorporated, owned and operated at the same location near Somerset by the Hemminger family. Hemminger Homes are quality factory built with professionally designed plans, energy efficient construction, designer color choices, and low maintenance exteriors.
Modular homes are already built to the building code. This insures our customers that their new home meets the building codes even before they are delivered to you. A third party inspects each home and places a seal on it to assure conformance. This style of home can be built in one or more sections.
Sectional homes are built to the H.U.D. code, which is a federal housing code. Every home is inspected by a third party to guarantee you code compliance before delivery to your site. Part of this code ensures proper size plumbing and heating systems are in each home. Also, higher insulation R-values as well as other important construction features are included for your benefit.

My Parents have been buying homes and dealing with Hemmingers for as long as I can remember. I LOVE how knowledgeable the service guys are. Its unreal. They were at my home 2day and I was expecting complete chaos and the guy had my hot water tank fixed and was ready to leave in about 25 minutes. I was told I needed a brand new tank and all new parts to connect cause my house is older. ALL LIES.
Just because my hook ups are copper means nothing. They are coming back to fix my bathroom and sink next. I won't go with anyone else from now on. I see why my parents were so loyal all these years. and people leaving bad reviews are probably ridiculous people anyway. Thank you Hemminger Homes. I appreciate you!

I called to ask if they had any single wide homes on the lot to look at. The lady was extremely rude and said with a nasty tone"I'll tell you what, just come in and look at what we have and take it from there" that did not work for me since I do not live very close to the area. It was a yes or no question. I guess we will not be looking to buy a new home from these people.
