Mediterranean Tile Marble

So many challenges and delays and problems, it would take an hour to type it all. Never compensated for incorrect tile, hassle or problems. Save time and money and headaches and avoid at all cost!

My wife and I spent several hundred dollars on tile/grout. I installed the tile, but when I mixed some grout, it looked gray instead of white, so I didn't grout the tile. Upon inquiring, my wife found out that they gave us the incorrect grout. The person on the phone acted as if it was our fault. The tile store is 45 min. each way from us, so we asked that they just credit us the $22 for the grout, and we'd buy it in Lowes. "NO" was the answer.

They had to have it back to credit us. My wife asked if they would come and pick it up; once again, "NO" was the answer. Since this was their incompetence, we felt that they should have apologized, and been happy to retun our payment for the grout. ZERO customer service or consideration.

We ordered tile from Lynn and special colored grout for our shower. We had to pick up the tile at the warehouse (and pay shipping) they gave us a box with the wrong color grout and now the bathroom at our second home has an entirely different look. I sent an email and left a message for Lynn about the issue, and she never even called me back. So much for customer service.

Staff is great, true designers. Tile brands selection that are true craft tile. Shows there are still artisans with high quality product. Go here first and save yourself the time! Thanks Nina for the exceptional service.

Great experience working with Jacqui at Mediterranean Tile in Fairfield! I struggled picking the tile and size for my bathroom renovation. I visited several tile stores and did not receive much help from other sales people. Jacqui at Mediterranean tile was able to help me narrow down my decisions and pick out beautiful tiles. Customer Service phone call to Bernardsville, NJ was very good. I was given the information I needed. However, I have previously placed orders for file in Fairfield, NJ, and when the order arrived, at least 1/3 of the tiles were broken. I had to pay for them anyways. The lead time was very bad, as well. Of course, if you're ordering hand made tiles, you'll likely have to wait.

Horrible customer service unless you go in with diamonds on your hand and a fur coat! Totally ignored for up to twenty minutes when there was only one customer there with her designer. Will not go back - second time ignored.

Mediterranean Tile has the best selection, as well as outstanding service. Nina helped me select my kitchen backsplash in my first house She was easy to work with, patient, offered excellent advice. and followed through on delivery. I then sold that house and have just returned to Nina and Mediterranean Tile to do my new apartment kitchen and bathroom. Again, Nina was a pleasure and the tiles arrived and look beautiful! When I do my 2nd bathroom, I will return to Nina and Mediterranean Tile. I live in another state now and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. It's worth the time.
