A wonderful place to shop for lumber. The website is good but nothing better than perusing the buildings, a row at a time. Educated staff, unusual wood, shipping and inspiration at each turn.

After thinking I had to drive to Pennsylvania to find a decent 9' Walnut slab, I found out about Berkshire Products from a friend at the last minute. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised with quantity and quality of what BP had to offer. An easy to use search engine gets you right to the slab you're looking for. After talking with Allison in customer service, we quickly found that the easiest and most cost effective way to purchase and get connected with my slab was to have it delivered. Within a week of ordering, my slab was at my shop, packaged with the utmost care and I couldn't be happier. 10/10-would highly recommend!

First of all, the customer service aand quality of the wood slab from Berkshire was very good. However, the shipping company they use was flaky, hard to deal with and delivered the package very late, not showing up during scheduled time windows etc. (Waited around from 9-5pm only for them to not come at all, had the same issue with this shipper, Saturn Freight, the last time I ordered a slab from Berkshire)

Berkshire Products has an enormous selection of slabs. It's worth the trek to visit their shop to see the mills in action and roam the vast hangars filled with incredible specimens. If you can't make it to them in person, their website makes it really easy to select materials with high res photos and free shipping over $1000. All of their slabs arrive dead flat and pre-sanded, which saves an enormous amount of time on my end. BP is an exceptional resource for furniture makers.

If I could give this company more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat! I've worked with a lot of mills and lumber providers and the crew over at Berkshire have it figured out. Allison always takes such good care of myself and my team and can't thank her enough!

These guys are awesome! Not only are their slabs even more gorgeous in person, but they are extremely fast/responsive, and so helpful! We even had a slight issue with our slab upon arrival from shipping and they were super helpful in getting it all figured out. Will definitely be using them for a source again!

This is the best mill BY FAR! Their enormous selection really is the best in the country if not the world. Only thing better is the customer service! Extremely helpful, even with tricky requests. The quality is always dependable and If there is ever an issue with the wood, I hear about it from them before they ship it so we can figure out the best solution. These guys rock!

We have been purchasing a higher volume of slabs form Berkshire Products for over 6 years. Always satisfied with their selection, customer service (thank you Allison), online catalogue with high res pictures, and general organization. The best around in my opinion.

The whole experience was simply astonishing. Well done you! I want to say this is now my favorite place to source slabs. But that would be unfair because it's now the *only* place. The slabs arrived promptly and crated with the same care and sturdiness you'd expect if you'd ordered components for the space shuttle. And that Maple Burl.: wow. Best I've ever seen and you even removed the bark with no scratches. My clients think I'm legit. So thank you for making me look good :-
