Drainage is one of the most important features of your property. If your drainage is not functioning properly, this can result in damage to your structure or landscape. Too much water in one area promotes rotting and decomposition. Don't risk irreversible water damage that will cost you money and possibly the structural integrity of your home.

Excellent! I'm a landscaper and I also build fences. I purchase all kinds of rocks and gravel from Mellotts each year. They also sell fantastic mulch, Chapel Hill gravel, gravel for driveways, top soil, great gardening soil, wonderful river rocks and drainage rocks. For big projects they can send out dump trucks, but you can also purchase directly from there business in Carrboro. Five stars. Great prices and friendly service.

They let me buy the "compost" by the shovelful which keeps me from buying plastic bags of top dressing for my garden, and also saves me money. I bring all my 5-gallon buckets, stop at the office, and let them know what I'm looking for. They point me in the right direction and I then I go to it, filling my buckets. It seems to be a mix of wood mulch fines, manure and maybe some topsoil (?); it's a pretty good blend and economical. They will deliver it too, in large quantities.
