Winlock Hardware has been running under the same ownership for over fifty years. The store which is situated in the historic Washington Co-op Building, on first street, has been operated by Frank and Irene Cook the whole time. Glen Cook, son of Frank and Irene Cook, has been working at the store for a number of years and shares ownership of the store.

Winlock True Value is truly an old school hardware store. You can find a little bit of everything there. The staff is friendly, not friendly enough to wear a mask though. Zero covid protocol here. The only really inconvenient thing about this store is that it's divided into two locations across the street from each other. I shop there all the time. I buy feed for my cows and chickens, pellets for my stove, and other needful things. Overall it's a good little hardware store.

We were up working on a rental property we will be moving into in a couple years. Place is a bit eclectic, but have a lot of stuff with friendly staff that knows what they have. Great resource to have in a small town. We shopped there as much as possible rather than run up to the big box store in Chehalis. Just beware if you're from out of the area. It's not where Google has it. It's right on the strip and is on both sides of the street. NE 1st, not SE.

This is a great hometown hardware store. They have everything you might need for almost every type of farm and home repair. They have a wide selection of livestock and poultry feeds. They also have the needed lumber items that you might need. The staff is very knowledgeable. This business is a locally owned, second generation, hometown business.
