I'm a general contractor in Tacoma and have been in business for decades. I've worked with sound glass on many many MANY bathroom remodels. They are a very trusted subcontractor of mine and I must say, I don't lose a step with sound glass on my side. From the front office thru the installations they've been trustworthy and professional. I use them as often as I can.
Highly suggested! Sanco Construction LLC has "straight A" reviews for bathroom and kitchen remodeling and to be quite honest, I owe a lot of my success to my subcontractors, including Sound Glass in Lakewood.

I work for a local large retailer that does not specialize in, nor cut glass. When customers come into our department and are looking for something we cannot provide, this is typically the store I personally recommend as I have never received anything but positive reviews, including a personal experience needing a glass pane of unusual dimensions they were able to cut same day. In return, when people have returned later for services we can provide, they have had nothing to say but thank you for recommending them to Sound Glass Sales Inc.

I will not be doing anymore business with Sound Glass Sales, because if they are this unresponsive for a sale, I can only imagine how the customer service would be on a warranty. I requested a quote for a window replacement on 10 November 2020. Emily asked me to provide pictures and dimensions. I provided the requested information within 15 minutes.
I immediately followed up with Emily to ensure she recieved the email. She confirmed reciept and ensured me she would have an eatimate to me. On 14 November 2020, I sent a follow up email to Emily, after not being able to reach anyone on the phone on the previous Friday. On 9 December 2020, I called Sound Glass Sales. I was placed on hold, and then told Emily was busy with another customer.
The lady I spoke with told me Emily would return my call and she put me through to Emily's voice mail. 15 minutes before closing, I called back. I was then told Emily had went home for the day. I had asked the lady if they were back logged and requested she shoot straight with me? She admitted they were 4 to 6 weeks back logged. She asked if I wanted to leave another message and told me that she would email Emily. I told her "no thank you" and informed her I would rather leave a detailed review of my experience. She then hung up on me.

We replaced nearly all our windows in our house in Tacoma with vinyl Milgard windows from Sound Glass. The whole process took from late October 2020 to early Feb 2021, so quite a while. However most places at that time were either behind or not scheduling ahead until the spring. When the windows were delivered we were missing one window which we had to wait another few weeks for after all the others were installed.
Also one window was broken in one pane, but they installed it anyways, which I thought was inapropriate, it just showed a kind of not our problem attitude. Besides that the installers were polite and efficient and it took 3 days for the 14 ish windows we had put in. We had to have the Milgard repair man come too fix the broken window and another installation group came to do the last windows that was missing.
Sound Glass also paid for an okay window cleaning guy which I had to remind them that they promised. Overall satisfied but they did require quite a bit of poking and proding to notify us when the windows were delivered and set dates for installation etc. Prices were fair.

Amazing! Scott was great, super knowledgeable, very prompt answering questions, and following up along the way. Jake and Jeremy.seriously THE BEST installers! Showed up on time every day, left everything spotless, worked like crazy and very efficient and organized. I wish all of our contractors were like these two!

I had an appointment to have some windows fixed. Also, in the future, we'll be replacing all 24 windows when we do the full remodel, but for now, we just need a fix. She was going to come between 9-11. Well, at 11:00, when no one showed up, I called the office to confirm the date and time. It could have been my mistake. The nice lady on the phone said, "She couldn't make it to your house, so she called and left a voicemail, telling you to take pictures and measurements, and text them to her." Now, hold on.
First of all, I didn't get any phone call, or text, or voicemail. I checked my phone to make sure. Nope. Second, is that really how you do business? I take my own measurements, and let you know what to do? Really? Why have field reps? Let's do it all ourselves! I told her on the phone that I've been available all day, had the phone with me, and no one called.
She seemed unconcerned. I told her, well, I guess I'll have to call someone else to actually come out. She said, OK! After hanging up, I double checked my call log and voicemail. No calls. Nothing. Thanks for wasting my time, Sound Glass. Rest assured, I won't waste yours by giving you any of my business.

I called and made an appointment 1-1/2 weeks in advance to get an estimate to have all my windows replaced in my house. I was told that the schedule was open and to pick a day and a time. I had made the appointment for a Tuesday and on the Friday before they called to say that had mistake and that they had to reschedule I said OK and rescheduled for that Thursday. They never showed nor did they call.

We waited for almost 30 minutes before being assisted at which point we explained what we were looking for ( shower glass surround/door) and supplied measurements for an estimate. We were told it would be a couple minutes. We were then told the estimator was busy but if we supplied an email it would be sent the following day. We followed up 3 times in the next week. First, estimator was sick, 2nd was the associate helping us was out for the day and the 3rd time it became my fault because I could not describe the girl who assisted us the week before. Business must be good because they sure didn't want my money.

Leslie Marquis is a gem to work with. My husband and I had been shopping for windows for some time in Seattle at several places and we decided to go with Loewen windows. The windows are high quality and certainly not cheap. We picked Sound Glass for two reasons. The most important reason was purely due to the attentiveness nature of Leslie. She provided us with bids the same or next day, gave us plenty of communication in terms of when she would have items ready for review, etc.
The other companies we looked at were not this prompt or professional. We found that Leslie would go above and beyond our expectations by responding to our questions and email in the evening and on weekends. We also had a few problems with the windows and Leslie had someone looking at them ASAP and get the issues resolved. The second reason was the price.
This was not a big deal, but we found their prices to be roughly $50-100 cheaper per window than the other sales organizations that we looked at. If you are looking for excellent, professional, and prompt customer service, Leslie at Sound Glass is a Gem! Thanks Sound Glass!
