I am the spouse of an employee who has dedicated his time and expertise to helping build this company into a productive, efficient and high quality company. He prides himself on pushing out high quality products and has recruited several friends and family members to join him at working at JL Schwieters. Unfortunately, upper management within JL Schwieters has treated my husband poorly.
They refuse to listen, communicate or take action in helping solve problems within shops, and clearly play favorites. They effectively bully employees into staying quiet about problems and inefficiencies and all but force team members to step down from hard earned promotions when they question why problems aren't being solved. There are no job descriptions to ensure team members aren't taken advantage of or are meeting goals.
They state that the only way to know if you are productive or efficient is to speak to the manager. But when you speak to your manager and ask for help, they tell you to step down from positions if they can't handle the role. It's unprofessional. It's unhealthy. Especially to a veteran.

What a great company JL Schwieters has been! In am the chapter president for the White Bear Lake chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace and we build bunk beds for children throughout our community that maybe sleeping on the floor, on air mattresses, or on a couch. We coordinate volunteers to come and help bunk beds out of lumber. For a second time now JL Schwieters has gone way beyond our expectations and has provided the lumber "cut to size" to help get over a total of 150 kids off the floor!
Thank you for all your support we couldn't have done it with out all your help and gratitude towards our organization. We are all so lucky to have an organization like yours within our community. We are forever grateful for all your help and assistance.
