Nor-Ell has a unique process of combining multiple colors (black, clear, gold, green, etc.) on the same part to create colorful, durable products, enhancing your product and brand recognition. This process can include from two-color to multi-color parts. This process is ideal for face plates, control panels, cover plates, labels, and decals.
Chemical film coating, also often referred to as Chem Film, Chromate Conversion, Iridite, and Alodine, are all essentially the same process. This includes the application of a chromate conversion coating on aluminum. Chem film provides less corrosion resistance than other finishes such as anodizing, and does not resist abrasion. The United States military spec for chemical films and chemical film materials for aluminum alloys is Mil-C-5541E.
