New York Shower Door

Our longtime contractor Mark Lechner recommended NY Shower Door and we are so happy he did. After using the shower door company with multiple sites for 4 jobs, I am sorry I didn't go to them before this! The current bathroom we redid was this year, and I can only say positive things about the work. The crew spent a lot of time making sure that everything was perfect. And it was! A very positive experience with this company and we 100% recommend them.

Totally professional in assisting me with three bathrooms that needed to be remodeled after 35 years. Jane, Chris, Jim and the entire team was first rate.

I just finished a bathroom remodel and purchased my shower doors from New York Shower Door. They have an extensive selection of doors and handles. The prices are competitive. The entire staff from the sales people, to the person that measures, and the installation crew are friendly, knowledgeable, cooperative and helpful. The doors were installed in a timely manner and look beautiful. I would highly recommend this company.

Could not be happier - the experience from start to finish was outstanding. Called and spoke to Jane about setting up a site visit, Jimmy showed up the next day and we had a drawing and prices (2 scenarios) the day after that. We finalized at the showroom after discussing options and finishes and once again they were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

While they estimated 3-4 weeks for installation, it took 2 weeks. The 2 installers were also top notch - these guys came prepared with blankets and floor protection so as to not damage anything on the way in or in the bathroom. They worked clean and were meticulous with the installation. As to pricing, I had no issues and really, these guys should get a premium anyway! They were that good. While this was our personal residence, we recommend NY Shower Door to our (AAC Homes) customers too.

Today I went into The Original NYSD(NY SHOWER DOOR) in Freeport. I stopped by in need of a door sweep for my custom shower door. For some reason I couldn't remember if the door was a left or right hinged door. Jane immediately looked up my account and found the correct door sweep. What a great help. Friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. If you are in need of a custom installation, look no further than NYSD. My door was installed in the sumner of 2017 and has given my family no issues. I highly recommend New York Shower Door. I needed a shower shield for a newly renovated bathroom. I was shown many options based on my needs. Ordering, delivery (early) and installation were all seamless. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I will not hesitate to call on them again when the need arises.

I wanted a shower door that did not rattle. After visiting all the major stores the al were plastic and noisy. I saw NY Shower Door as I passed it and turned around. They have real quality doors "solid". They are very courteous and understanding what you are looking for. They made sure my measurements were correct before they placed the order. I reccomend them if you want a hassle free experience.

We only use New York Shower Door for all our clients, they are simply the best, unsurpassed in design and fabrication. They are very respectful of our clients home and we highly recommend them!

After having my shower door installed by NY shower door they requested I leave a google review. 1 word FAIL Try to get them back to fix an issue and you get the run around. Chris and Jane are only interested in new sales. They push a product called Enduro Shield for glass protection, complete waste. Read the other negative reviews that I wish I read before hiring them.

The workers were punctual. Came at the EXACT time they said they would. installation was quick. Neat. Would never know they were there except I had brand new beautiful shower doors! They recommended I get low lead glass. So so happy I did. Great product! Great team! Thank you NYSD!

Chris and his team are infinitely helpful. They could have advised a service call for an easy fix. Instead Chris advised how to repair our shower door issue by ourselves. I sent photos showing the problem and he speedily responded. New York Shower Door is honest and has great integrity and cares about their clients. Don't get fooled by other shower door companies that say they are affiliated.

I almost did and the other company would have repaired at my home which would have meant a service fee for something Chris understood we could repair on our own. Mission accomplished.

Looks like they may do nice work, but called this morning to get a quote and order a glass shower panel for a new install however the woman on the phone kept telling me that they are (4) weeks out and actually talked me out of doing business with them, no issues I called another glass vendor, they were happy to provide me a quote and have our business. I guess that New York Shower Door really doesn't need or want the business.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I called this company a few times to get some information and was hung up on 3 separate times by the rude lady that said she was working in the showroom. She would not even let me finish talking before she would tell me she had a customer in the showroom and then hang up. I'm not sure why they would not have more than 1 person between the showroom and answering phones if this woman cannot handle doing both.

All I know is that I have never received such bad service in all of my experience building our new home. I suggest the lady gets some customer service skills if she wants to keep her potential clients.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The moment my father walked it he was automatically told "all these doors start off at 2,000 dollars" making the assumption that he cannot afford it. He walked out right after. How embarrassing and down right wrong this woman was, we would possibly of bought from them but will NEVER be going there again.

New York Shower Door was the perfect end to my bathroom(s) renovation. Both Jane and Chris were extremely helpful and on top of my order. When I made a slight change in the design, they sent a person out again to measure to double verify that the change would work. Their installation team was professional, clean and their attention to detail was amazing. If you're considering NY Shower Door - just go for it!

This place is the real deal! From their beautiful showroom to their fantastic customer service, New York Shower Door can't be beat. What impressed me the most was that they communicated with me from start to finish, answering my questions and addressing my concerns. They called me ahead of time to inform me when the installers would arrive; I didn't have to wait around all day. The installers did a neat professional job. I am really happy that I chose this company for my shower door!

If you use them to install your shower, just be prepared to spend $250.00 for the initial visit for subsequent service before paying for any necessary parts and labor.

I recently used NY shower door for my 4th bathroom makeover. Two in my old house and now two in my new one and we are completely satisfied with the work, from the measurements to the final install they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of redoing their bathroom and wants beautiful shower doors.

A major renovation of my condo was recently completed - but my FAVORITE part of the entire project is my master bathroom.
