Services
Our award winning design projects, extending from the Hamptons and North Fork, to New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut, are conceived and implemented by a dedicated team of full-time specialists and a network of leading contractors, architects and artisans. Founded in 1999 by Peg Fruin, our custom designs have helped shape hundreds of the most spectacular homes in the Hamptons. For over twenty years, Hampton Design has offered passion and innovation to the design world of the East End of Long Island.
A Sag Harbor home designed for family and waterfront entertaining, Hampton Design modified all of the interior spaces to increase flow, functionality and privacy. Opening up the home to embrace family life and welcome guests was central to the design focus, as well as bringing in the views of the water from almost every window.

Completed a major renovation and interior design project that is everything we dreamed of and more. Peg Fruin and her team listened closely and gave us great ideas. Worked seamlessly with architect and contractor, always advocating for beauty, frugality and functionality. The pandemic lockdown interrupted our work, but Peg approached the situation with honesty, compassion and determination.
Every commitment was honored. I felt that Peg cared as much about the outcome as we did. And when it was time to move back into our home, she had she made sure it was finished and welcoming.

After several emails and discussions, including exchanging emails on the exact dimensions of the kitchen in our lovely home, Hampton Design agreed in principle to work with us ("I worked out kitchen with island and booth, looks great, very functional!"). They also specifically confirmed several times that our kitchen project was not too small for them.
Then they abruptly (and in a condescending tone) told us that our project was too "tiny" for them and since they have many, many projects they had no availability for our "tiny home" (it's 2100 sq ft, 3bd/3ba). If you have a smaller home or project or something else, you may not be up to Hampton Design's standards.
