For over a century Anderson Wood has been a leader in hardwood dimension providing a wide array of products manufactured from sustainable American hardwoods. Through five generations we have built a rich heritage of supplying architectural millwork for some of America's most prestigious buildings to our current production of institutional furniture and residential millwork that includes strong commitments to dormitory furniture and stair components.

From a significant lumber inventory procured from environmentally responsible mills, processed through our dry kilns and state-of-the-art rough mill our capabilities range from producing rough dimension components to fully machined, assembled and pre-finished products in a facility tailored for both efficiency and flexibility.
Services
Anderson Wood provides the full scope of hardwood components from rough dimension to those that are fully machined, assembled and prefinished. We employ a highly skilled work force, maintain a lumber inventory in excess of two million board feet and manufacture in a facility configured with flexible and unique woodworking equipment.
When you think of stair parts, consider Anderson Wood, one of America's largest producers of lineal stair components; handrail, bending rail, wall rail, shoe rail and small mouldings. With dedicated resources and technology that is second to none we manufacture these products in a wide variety of profiles, styles and species to satisfy our customer's diverse requirements.
Although Anderson Wood can supply dimension blanks, most customers prefer to buy value added parts. Moulding, tenoning, profile sanding, boring and mortising; these and many other woodworking capabilities allow Anderson's experienced staff to provide our customers with products that meet their unique specifications and needs.

I worked here for 7 weeks and had to resign for a short period after getting custody of my girls full-time. David, the CEO, told me to let him know if anything changes and they would love to have me back. After 2 weeks, I am returning with the same pay, but on a new shift that will fit my schedule so I can care for my girls while my fiancee is at work.

A great family like environment. The company manufactures handrails and dormitory style bed frames. Regardless what others say about their experiences here, yes we do roast each other on a daily basis. But we do it like a family would. We are all close once we get to know one another. I missed the company while I was away, and look forward to returning on Monday afternoon, March 9, 2020.

I worked here for 4 months. They entire time I was treated horrible. They have a few people that have worked there for 15+ years and they pretty much decide who stays or goes. No matter how hard you work. It's a very old and run down building that is a danger to work in. Machines are constantly breaking down and people are standing or walking around talking instead of doing their job. It's a shock that they've managed to stay in business as long as they have. Thankful not to have to go there every day anymore.

Complete run down dump with incompetent rude people running this place. OSHA would have a field day and the building should be condemned for rotted structural damage.
