Great quality work, inexpensive prices, helpful people. What more can you ask for? JC said that this lady insulted her by saying, "You don't want that. It's $350." She thought that the lady employee was suggesting that JC was poor. No, woman, the lady was trying to save you money! She said the same thing to me. I told her I was going to Home Depot to buy small plastic nubs to place under this glass I was going to place on top of my coffee table.
She replied, "You don't want that. It's $5. Here, let me give you some more free plastic discs. You can stack several discs so that the thickness is the same as the nubs. It's free. I'm not going to charge you anything for them." This is a great place to buy glass on a budget.

The people at Barco really know the meaning of the word precision. I'm impressed with the quality and precision of their job. I needed to replace some broken glasses. The glass I was looking for was for a hutch that has specific measurements and shape. I called them to get a quote, I spoke with Michelle. She's a great lady, very knowledgeable and helpful. I received a very fair price for the order. I'm very satisfied and wife is super happy. I Definitely recommend Barco Mirror for any project that requires glass.

I had the most unusual/worst customer service encounter at this shop with the lady with long blond hair. I'm sure they have quality glass, but I have never felt so unwelcome before anywhere. I was trying to explain what I was looking for to a lady with long blond hair, and she responded to me as if they didn't have anything for me or did not understand what I needed and therefore could not help.
Another woman with short hair jumped in to help explain-she was helpful enough to get things going so I give her a star for that. I just felt so unwelcome the moment the first woman spoke to me as if I was being such a bother to her that I simply did not want to stay long enough to get what I truly needed before leaving in tears. She showed me the various handles, and showed me a set of different handles in a different area but told me, "You probably do not want them because they're like $350". I'm spending $180K on home renovations and have more to do, so I don't know why she made that assumption.
She did help show me one item and offered to show me something in the back, but the damage was already done and I couldn't tell if she really had any genuine willingness to help, and I declined her offer only because I just wanted to get out of there asap. This encounter is enough for me to second guess my order with my contractor and go with another vendor.
I give this place another star only because I (usually) believe in second chances and want to give people the benefit of the doubt. I kept thinking what I have possibly done to offend this woman to be treated this way, but I truly have no idea.

I have a built-in wall unit with a desk included. The corners of the unit are angled and 3 holes are on top of the desk area for my wires to go through. I knew this was going to be a very challenging piece to cut but I wanted glass to protect the surface. I am a crafter and needed durability. Called several glass companies and here is what happened.
First company -They came out and measured but the finished product was totally off. They recut one piece and that piece was wrong and the guy got mad at me for it not fitting properly. He was so angry and took it out on me and left saying no other glass company would do this. Second company- came out and measured and told me it would be difficult and if they had to come out several times it would cost me $65 each time.
His quote was 4 times as much as any of the others.obviously he didn't want to do it. Third company had to call twice and they guy just flat out said no. At least he was honest. BARCO - they came out and measured. The guy suggested a piece of molding along the wall to make more of a straight line for him to measure. Brilliant no one else gave us that idea and it work. Came out and remeasured, cut the glass one piece fit but 2 others needed to be recut.
No problem because by this time I trusted them and I knew they would get it right. Second attempt - they came back out and it was PERFECT! The cost was very fair, they were courteous, and had the knowledge and patience to take on this challenge. PLEASE call them first with your glass/mirror needs.

I was working on a little nightstand project and did not realize how hard the glass part of it all was going to be. After doing a lot of research online and making phone calls, I couldn't find anyone that seemed to be very helpful in getting holes drilled in some glass pieces. I called Barco and they were more than happy to do so, gave me a quote that COULD NOT be beat, and when I arrived, they told me they would attach them to my furniture, along with the hardware to insure everything was done correctly. I will be recommending them to everyone. I haven't even picked up my pieces yet, but their customer service was so outstanding I couldn't wait to talk about it!

We just redid a bathroom and priced both a frameless shower enclosure and large wall mirror at no less than 4 places in the Dallas area. Some were snooty (I made the error of asking for pricing for semi-frameless which is simply 'unacceptable' to some), some unreliable (didn't even bother to call me back), and one gave a great price but couldn't seem to even return a call to set up a date to come out to my house!
A friend finally referred me to Barco and I have to say, it was worth the wait. All of the frustration in my previous phone calls with other companies came to a screeching halt when I found Barco. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and a complete pleasure to deal with. And, most importantly, their prices are BY FAR the very best I found, Hands down the only place I will deal with in the future.
They came out and installed exactly when they said they would, their work was perfect, and overall, it was just a great experience. This is a family-owned business and it shows.
