We're Olde Wood Limited and we craft the finest lumber into one-of-a-kind masterpieces of history and beauty. We began with very humble beginnings stemming from a man's vision for the future and a passion for "old wood". Owners Tommy and Mandy Sancic started the company in 1997 with a small team of three. Over the last 20+ years, thanks to an incredible team, it has grown into one of the largest wide plank flooring and reclaimed building materials manufacturing facilities in the nation, expanding its product lines and continuously growing along the way.

Monica, my design consultant, was terrific to work with, and our oak hit-skip random width flooring absolutely makes the space. Our installer told us during the project that these were the most beautiful individual planks he had ever seen. There were several pieces he put aside to actually point out to us how fantastic this project was. Everyone who walks into our renovation, comments on the flooring!

Madison at Olde Wood LTD was very responsive and helpful in finding a beautiful mantle for our fireplace. She searched their inventory and located the perfect piece for what we were looking for. She provided information about the mantle and after having all of our questions answered, we made the purchase and within a week, received the mantle just as was promised. If you're ever looking for well weathered lumber for a special project, give Olde Wood a call. We found them to be extremely helpful and easy to work with.

I am so happy with our mantle from Olde Wood Ltd! Our entire experience with this company has been amazing! Monica was wonderful to work with and helped us select the perfect mantle. The shipping and handling was so much faster than we expected. The mantle arrived in perfect condition and the quality of wood is top of the line! We decided to purchase wood flooring from Olde Wood Ltd and have been very pleased with the product so far. Picking out samples and working with a knowledgeable sales rep went smoothly. The flooring arrived in perfect condition and we have been installing ourselves. This is a big DIY project and I wouldn't recommend jumping in unless you have some experience.
Don't forget to do your research and get the proper tools for the job. The wood planks have a lot of character and look stunning when you begin the installation. If this is a DIY project, I recommend carefully choosing your layout (racking) in order to get the best mix and look. I'm a little more than halfway complete and can't wait to have the rest of the job completed.
Way to go Olde Wood. -pioneer cherry traditional plank in 3-6 widths -natural oil finish -install with glue assist *1/8/22 Look at how much this cherry has darkened. The colors are so warm and beautiful. We love it.

I have been dealing with Monica Triner for almost 3 years. I started talking to her before we started our dream house. She was very helpful in helping us pick out our flooring. We flew up to Ohio to visit the factory and Monica showed us all the products, gave us a tour of the factory and took us out to lunch. We wanted to put some flooring in our house that you don't see very often. So, we bought 3300 sq ft of it. It's not complete but I will share a few pictures. Everybody that has seen it so far, loves it. I highly recommend this outfit, I haven't had any problems.

It was mere happenstance when I stumbled upon Olde Wood LTD via the net when my wife and I had decided we'd like to do away with the old wall-to-wall and try an antique hardwood in our bedroom, which we'd always fancied to be of a rather Dickensian motif (somehow the carpet just wasn't cutting it.) A fifteen minute phone conversation with design expert Monica Triner led to a free sample, plus ample information that gave me the faith to know that these people really knew what they were doing.
The price was significantly lower than some antique hardwood we'd installed in our kitchen around ten years ago (that company was out of business!), but even better was the reassuring, confident tone of Ms. Triner who answered all questions and displayed such faith in their product that we were willing to take the chance. I mean, we were hundreds of miles away in Gaithersburg, MD outside of Washington, DC!
Please note that the accompanying picture was taken mere minutes after the installers departed. We have invested wisely in a superior product, an extraordinary company and a designer who, I honestly believe, was even more excited than we were about the final outcome! The pictures speak for themselves!

We were not really in the market for a new floor but being local to Olde Wood Limited-we at least had to check it out. We were instantly amazed by the variety of styles and the beauty of this Reclaimed material we had heard so many friends talking about. We began to ponder ways we could use it in our home without taking the plunge to purchase a brand new floor in a home we were not sure would be our "life" home.
This dreaming we were doing quickly turned into a reality when we decided to redo the master suite in our home. Not only has this material proven to be a great flooring option, but we were quickly seeing the versatility in the material as we planned our projects. We ended up using the Reclaimed Historic Plank, adding custom floor to ceiling cabinetry in the bathroom, creating a sliding barn door to separate the rooms and building a custom platform bed with an accent wall for a headboard.
Although we went the unfinished route-and planned to site finish the material ourselves, we were not disappointed. Words simply can not describe how eye-opening it was to see the material come alive firsthand as the natural oil was applied to each board. Every bit of character "popped" out bringing the saw marks, grain and tale of its history to the forefront.
Start to finish we could not have been more pleased with our entire experience. The people were great, the service was top notch and the product was skillfully milled to meet our every expectation-and then some! Needless to say, when we make the move to our forever home, Olde Wood Limited is definitely playing a huge role. FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!
