The Stock Pile is a non-profit home improvement reuse store that saves new and gently used building materials from going to waste in dumpsters and landfills so they can be made available to northeast Ohio residents for 1/3-1/2 of the retail cost. The Stock Pile's goal is to improve substandard housing in northeast Ohio by connecting low-to-moderate income individuals/families, those 62 years of age or older, the disabled, and/or active or veteran military members to low-cost building supplies. We believe that by coming together as a community we can ensure everyone can improve their homes and lives.

Second Coat is a latex paint reprocessing program created by The Stock Pile. Partial cans of donated paint are filtered and mixed with like colors in 55-gallon drums; the paint is then repackaged into new, full gallon cans of paint and sold for $10 per gallon. By The Stock Pile accepting partial containers of paint, people are less likely to improperly dispose of their leftover paint. This program also allows members of our community to buy enough quality paint for their larger projects at a more affordable rate.
The Stock Pile offers FREE donation pickups from your home, business, or job site. We have a 16 foot box truck and offer donation pickup within 90 miles of Canton, Ohio. You can schedule a pickup by calling 330-455-4585 or by emailing donations@thestockpile.org. The Stock Pile is a 501c3 non-profit organization and donors will receive an itemized receipt for tax purposes.
The Stock Pile is open to the public, and we offer free memberships to qualified members for even more savings and benefits. Members receive 20% off everything in-store, every day, and 35% off on Sale Day Saturday. The Stock Pile does NOT require income verification. Hands down the best place in Canton for building materials. They have some really unique items at great prices and it's for a good cause! I love what this store is doing to contribute to the community! Check them out if you are updating or renovating your home! The staff is always so friendly and happy to answer questions or even help look for an item to complete your project. I have saved SO MUCH money on my house renovations. Thank you Stock Pile!
