I own a landscaping business and Country Oaks is completely unprofessional. We ordered mulch yesterday and they told us we were the first ones on the list. My secretary called them in the morning when they opened and asked them to give us a call when they were on their way. The lady who answers the phone says "well he already left out so here's your call" completely unprofessional and lack of communication.
Then I called and asked them to make sure they wait to dump the mulch because there was a specific place it needed dumped and they just dumped it where they seen fit. I will never use thus business again because I rather spend the extra $20-$30 for a professional business not just some business that acts like their roses don't stink.

Have worked with the team on several occasions. Mulch, sand, stone, top soil, compost, etc. I have had pickups and deliveries. Everyone on the team is very helpful, knowledgeable and overall nice to work with. The individual driving the front end loader could load a Tonka truck without spilling. I recommend them often.

Great experience from start to finish! Kathy was wonderful to work with. She was patient and helpful when answering all my questions about stone options, quantity calculations, & pricing. Once my decision was made, scheduling was easy and they were able to deliver the stone quickly. Due to the quantity needed, my order had to be split into two deliveries.
I originally scheduled the second delivery 2 weeks out from the first in order to give us enough time to move the first load to the flowerbeds. We were able to move the first load that weekend, so I called Kathy on Monday morning to inquire about having the second load delivered earlier than the scheduled day. They delivered the second load that afternoon (almost 2 weeks earlier than scheduled)!
Due to their quick response, we were able to finish our project the next day while the weather was cooler. The delivery driver did a fantastic job placing the stone piles for both deliveries exactly where we had designated with a tarp. Thanks Country Oaks! We'll be back when we need more supplies.

I am giving this two stars for two very different interactions. First visit - excellent service from the pit attendant. Talked about options, look against the house and tips of installation. Five stars for that young man. Second visit - Called first before leaving the house to confirm that they had my product in stock and received confirmation. Rented a flatbed to get two tons of stone ($720). Arrived with the truck to find out that they indeed didn't have it in stock. Offered to make things right by having them deliver the stone to the house free of charge (as I was already on the hook for the $40 flatbed charge) when it came in. Owner blamed her employee out loud and refused to make the situation right. I walked away with no stone, a truck rental bill for $40.

I understand that plastic is everywhere. I understand that you get your compost from city yard waste which has debris in it. Yes your compost is certified that is why we choose to go with your company. What I don't understand is why you don't have a disclaimer on your website warning that there is plastic throughout your compost. What I don't understand is why you won't come pick up the compost and refund our money. The most you offer is to refund a yard of dirt. I had several of my family and friends ask where I got my dirt, I will not be recommending Country Oaks Landscaping.

Well, they were pretty good until this delivery. When I ordered and paid, I told them I would provide a map of where I want it dumped. Called yesterday to get the email address to send the map. I was home when it was delivered but the driver never bothered to ring the bell or knock on the door (our dogs would have gone nuts - no way to miss it). He dumped the topsoil in the driveway on the other side of the house from where I had marked.
Either wasn't told or didn't bother. Either way, apparently they don't communicate with each other, even when I gave explicit instructions. Now I have to rent a bulldozer to move the dirt out of the driveway asap. Trying to upload the map to prove how crystal clear my instructions were. Update: I have tried repeatedly to get them to settle this dispute, but my recent certified mail was actually refused. The lady in their office never even acknowledged the error or offered ANY kind of rebate, refund, or any other means of making this right. Court it is. SMH

The split bed used on my order saved me a lot on delivery costs! Every other company around wanted to make 2 separate deliveries for my 3 yards of mulch and 2 yards of soil. I am so happy they suggested one split delivery! The driver was very nice and professional, making sure I got my order exactly where and how I needed it. Quality looks good as well. All in all they have a lasting customer in me.
