Our Hubbard Barrel Jointers are high quality masonry tools that will produce a uniformly fine mortar joint finish every time. Used by professional brick masons, the Hubbard Barrel Jointers come with 1/2", 5/8" 3/4" and 7/8" diameter, hardened, tubular steel blades (Barrels) which can be interchanged to accommodate joint size requirements. No tools are required to exchange the blades or replace a worn blade, simply remove the old blade and screw on the size blade you require. Many have tried to replicate our mason jointers, but the professional mason knows the difference.

Please take a moment to let me introduce the Hubbard Jointer Company and our products to you. My father, Dick Hubbard, started laying brick in 1924. He continued as a bricklayer and masonry contractor until 1965. In 1960 Dick began commercial production of the Hubbard Jointer. In 1965 he quit laying brick to devote all of his time to the Hubbard Jointer Company.
Ric Hubbard is the owner and President of The Hubbard Jointer Co., Inc. He served his masonry apprenticeship under the direction of his father, Dick Hubbard. Dick was a master craftsman in every sense of the term and the developer of the Hubbard Jointer Company products. Ric purchased the company from his father in 1986 and retained his father's critically demanding eye on quality, workmanship and service. The Hubbard Jointer Company unconditionally warrants the quality of its workmanship and materials in every tool we produce.
The Hubbard Jointer was developed by a bricklayer, Dick Hubbard, who started in the masonry trade in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1924. He was a mason and contractor until he started the Hubbard Jointer Company in 1960. He began commercial production of the tool in its current configuration in 1965.
