The mission of Benson Bondstone is to make superior building materials that are affordable. And in the process revolutionize the construction industry. Our story begins over 20 years ago when one of the founders - a teenager at the time - survived a devastating house fire. Fortunately, no one was injured but the house was nearly destroyed along with many irreplaceable possessions. That was a defining moment in his life, a turning point that kindled a desire to improve the way in which we live and our homes are built.
Benson Bondstone believes in empowering people. How we live that belief is by building custom homes and custom structures in and around the Coeur d'Alene area that are more affordable, more environmentally friendly, more durable, safer, and faster built. With our PermaPanel system, framing out a new construction on even something as grand as a custom 7,000 square foot home, for example, can be finished in a week-from foundation to roof.

I asked Benson to come out and look at a broken window in my condo. it was up high and required several people to install. The man that came out clearly did not want the job and in fact never got back to me with a proposal. After several weeks I called and asked about the proposal they quickly sent a one line proposal of $10,130. Outrageous! Kick in the teeth bid! they would of been better off saying they did not want the job. I got Culver Glass to come out and install for $3,203.00. they were exceptionally courteous and efficient.

I needed a new window installed in my condo and I live in a somewhat tall building near a busy street. So many companies did not want to do the job, but Benson took it on at a very fair price. The work was completed within a few weeks of our initial inquiry and the employees they sent out were so impressive and professional. This was not an easy job, yet they still got it done in 2 hours! Highly recommend!
