In 1974, Willie Drake took a small assignment that led him to West Virginia in search of rare American Chestnut among the area's historic Appalachian barns. Little did he know, this small task would lead to a lifetime of adventures. While combing the mountains for usable wood, Willie realized there was an abundance of beautiful abandoned wood waiting to be reclaimed and reused.
The Americana Collection features our twelve most sought-after finishes on wideplank, engineered white oak flooring-offering style and stability for a variety of applications both commercial and residential. Because we do not compromise on quality, as with all Mountain Lumber products, our Americana Collection is manufactured and quality-controlled at every point of the process at our mills in Virginia and West Virginia.
Reimagine your walls and ceilings with a custom wood solution. We can supply planks that you install to any backing material, or a prefabricated panel that merely needs to be fastened to the wall. Wood adds warmth and depth to interior design at an economical price, adding to its popularity for residential and commercial cladding applications.
Beyond their good looks, Mountain Lumber's custom-made countertops are designed and built for extra stability. Offered in a variety of woods and grades as both plank and butcherblock designs, these work surfaces are 1 1/2" thick, up to 25" deep and available in lengths up to 14'. You can specify different thicknesses and depths to meet your specific project's needs.
