Excellent service! Prompt and professional availability. Came to our home, answered all our questions, were patient as we explored options and finally made our selection for top down, bottom up cellular shade blinds. Product was custom made for our windows and delivered/installed more than 1 1/2 weeks before the estimated install date. We chose The Blind Man because they are a local Yukon business, their business ratings and the the preliminary customer service by Diana.

We have purchased plantation shutters for two of our homes through The Blind Man. They are always quick to come out, very friendly very professional and it doesn't take too long before your shutters are in. The installer Ray is very friendly and takes care with all the little details like seams and how it fits. The one thing that you can say is there is zero worries using this company I give them five stars on price, professionalism, friendliness, product, and installation. This changed the whole look of our home and we are beyond pleased.

We have nothing but good to say about this company! . Professional job yet down to earth people who treat you fair and laugh at your jokes! Can't beat that! Trever installed. Was on time, treated us and our home with respect! A delightful gentleman! And.great time management! That guy was efficient and fast. Clean up after himself. What wonderful experience. We ordered shutters for our entire house when we built three years ago, 16 shutters total including an atrium door. I have repeatedly received compliments on them and couldn't have been more pleased with the whole process, from ordering to installation. After one of my shutters was damaged by the window installer (not the Blind Man), they came back out and installed the new ones, again with the upmost professionalism. I am now referring them to my daughter since she's looking for plantation shutters.

Customer Service is not their priority. Maybe not even on the to-do list. So at first, this company was awesome! I would have given them 5 stars for sales and installation. They came and gave us an estimate, said we could get cordless blinds for $150 more so we did it. They came and installed and all was well, until a mechanism broke. They were still under warranty so I thought, "No big deal, they will come fix it or get us a new set." No, that's not how things went down unfortunately.
They first broke around 4-5 months in. So I called and they said they should be covered, they would call me back to set up an appointment. They didn't. I called again, they said they couldn't find my info, said they would call me back. I called again, left a message, no response. Called again, she couldn't remember me, but found my info and said she wasn't sure if anything could be done to help me.
She said they don't usually recommend cordless blinds for this reason, that she would check with their supplier and call me back. She didn't. (AND THEY TOTALLY RECOMMENDED THE CORDLESS ONES BECAUSE I WAS GOING TO BUY CORDED ORIGINALLY) By this time we're getting close to the one year mark. I called her supplier who sent me the spare parts right away and said I can just call this company to come install them.
I called, set an appointment for yesterday afternoon and it was a no call, no show. I called again a moment ago and there was no answer. I left another message but I will be in complete shock if she returns my call for the first time since they sold to me. So unprofessional, frustrating and even more puzzling because they seem to be wonderful for everyone else.
I don't know what's different about us? We paid on time and in full, all of our exchanges have been nice until recently when I needed customer service and they can't seem to help. This is crazy! Don't use them if you're not prepared to fix them yourself or buy more new ones before they're even a year old. And to reply to their response. I have phone records and the supplier's info to prove I called them. Kathy at Royal Windows was very helpful, thanks.
No one from this place calls me back and I've called numerous times. You're right a phone call and simple customer service would have been a very easy solution. Too bad they can't provide that. By the way, for the 4th time, the wand isn't broken! It's the mechanism inside! Kathy knew that right away. And she sent me 5 replacements just in case. Lack of interest, listening skills and product knowledge should speak for itself. How would you gauge that customer service?

We used the Blind Man almost 8 years ago on a new home we custom built. Charles measured every window we wanted covered and showed us numerous shade colors and filtering choices. His sons did all the installations. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish! All of the shades and chain pulls held up perfectly and still looked brand new when we sold that home a few months ago.
Even with two young boys around! = I just ordered more shades for home #2 so am hopeful this will be a 5 star experience as well. I would definitely recommend the Blind Man to anyone in the market for shades, blinds, shutters, etc.

Purchased blinds and shutters and got a great price compared to other quotes I had received. My blinds came in first and then the shutters but both came in quickly. The installers were on time and did a very professional job and cleaned up after themselves. The color match was perfect and I couldn't be happier with their service! Would definitely recommend!

This is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Buyer BEWARE! We had them come to our home and placed an order at 6 pm but after thinking about our choice of color. I called them the next morning at 11am to request a different color. I was told I could not change anything and then was informed that he would take this to his attorney and sue me if I didn't accept the order as is.
I told him to cancel this order and he became very loud and belligerent He has called and left me threatening voice messages on my phone IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PARTY BE CAREFUL! I RECOMMEND THAT YOU SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND CALL A REPUTABLE COMPANY

Run the other way! Terrible customer service. Ordered shutters and told by owner it would take 4-6 weeks. It took 10. A couple of the slats were damaged and it took another 4 weeks to get them, only to find out they were the wrong size. Ordered again and finally supposed to get them this week---2 months later. Total of 6 months since we initially ordered the shutters. Asked owner for adustment to my bill due to time and inconveinence. No way! Told me to take my future business elsewhere when I got upset.
