I emailed Rich asking for a simple quote with the materials and quantities all listed. Instead of simply stating that they do not deal in framing lumber of any kind he rudely says to try again in a few months and after I pressed him, that it might take a few days to get a quote. I said that would be great and proceeded to wait 13 days without communication back.
After I email him, he says "I am unable to quote this. We mainly deal in hardwoods not framing grade lumber." A simple glance at my quote and he could have told me right away that they do not deal in the lumber I need, instead of wasting my time waiting for a response.

After paying an arm and a leg for custom butcher block countertops, I decided to invest some time in making them myself. Not only is it the best selection of raw hardwood in the Reno, Sparks area, but they have a great selection of the additional materials you'll need for woodworking for remarkably lower prices than the Home Depot (I noticed when I went to my local Home Depot to pick up a couple things to finish the product). Staff was friendly and helped me prepare for what I was getting into. With an investment in time, I ended up saving $1700 over what I was quoted.

I've been in here a few times, and have never been acknowledged. Was interested in purchasing some exotics, the board foot prices are no where to be found and with the employees sitting at their desks, you are screwed. Customer service is key and would rather spend my money were I feel like my business is wanted.
