Enjoy a collection of images of projects undertaken by Bob Taylor and his associates over the last 35 years. Each has been an exploration of the craft and art of creating fine millwork and furniture that contributes to the comfort, harmony, and utility that we appreciate and expect from living with objects and buildings made of wood. Living and working among some of the oldest and finest examples of the Building Arts, the Mid-Atlantic area holds history up for us for inspiration to carry on the aesthetics of balance and grace.

Unique place with a range of activities and businesses! You can spend a few hours or the whole day exploring each business. Don't underestimate the model train museum. There's a lot of dedication and artistry that staff and family have put into those displays! Four stars only because the spaces don't seem to have air conditioning or heating. The businesses have fans and heaters, but it offers little relief on extreme temperature days.

Still has a way to go. Pandemic didn't help. Ate at the Farehouse which is always a favorite. I think they have plans to improve the abandoned parts. It would be a great place to host a craft fair as it would be inside/under roof with our unpredictable Southern summer weather.

There's more there than you may know & the changes & restorations are really good! The places there now are worth checking out & I can't wait to see what else is coming!

So unique! Love all the different artisans, especially The Indigo Tribe. Beckee is truly the most friendly, engaging and extremely talented person.

I really enjoyed the beer and music at 13 Stripes Brewery at Taylor's Mill. The food from the restaurant next door was really good too. A Drop of the Pure band was playing Irish music to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

We were so impressed with the revitalization of this historical area. I hope they bring in more shops because this is such a great little area to enjoy the day and have a meal. Make sure you bring a camera, you will have great architectural opportunities to take some great pictures and selfies. The arcade looks so fun, definitely something to do next time.

I've been in the Greenville area quite awhile now and didn't know about this place. What they are trying to do is nice but they have a long way to go. I walked around where the salvaged wood and stuff is and some guy asked me what I was doing there like I wasn't supposed to be there. He was sort of giving me the third degree. I found out later that he's with the salvaged wood place and he frequently does that. Well, he's going to chase customers away if he keeps it up.

The restrooms in that area are nasty. Doe anyone go in and clean? I realize this is an old mill but it seems like to me that they could do a lot better with this. The saving grace was the train station. I didn't have any idea this was here at all! All I can say is WOW! The displays are so cool! And everyone was really nice. I plan on bringing my kids here for their birthday's. They'll love it!
