Beckerle Lumber

I make a stop here because of all the positive reviews I'm in the market for new kitchen cabinets so I figure I come to get a quote. I take a walk to there showroom and go inside I walk all around the showroom I take my time to get acknowledged and I guess I'm not dress for the occasion cause I didn't get a hello or anything? Yes I know they were busy with there with there 2 customers. I was a little uncomfortable that the whole time I'm walking in the store I felt my money wasn't good enough.

Very good customer service. The guys there are so helpful, knowledgeable, thorough and patient. We would go there for all our hardware needs. The products are also high quality; we got paint and paint supplies.

Guys behind the paint department are top notch. Friendly and super responsive. Always get a quality customer service when I buy paint. The lumber department on the other hand is miserable. The energy behind that counter is lacking and void of any customer appreciation. I've been going to lumber yards for over 25 years now and when I have to go there the experience is dreadful.

It's nice to walk into a place that's customer friendly you get a greeting hello, how can we help you. when you get to the counter and obviously you forgotten one thing they help you out and say hey you sure you don't need this big box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot don't provide that kind of service

Great staff, knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are decent. Great for lumber and paint.

NEver allow them to mix the color, chantilly lace! 700.00 in paint, the color is not white, has a yellow tint, they remixed and I paid someone again to spray my cabinet doors. Guess what? A lighter shade of yellow. Their mistake cost me a lot of money. Twice. One of the brothers even came to my house to look at it. Still couldn't get it right. I will go elsewhere and try again when I can afford it.

We just finished renovating our kitchen and we dealt with Sam at your Haverstraw location. Sam couldn't have been more helpful. He designed our kitchen and making changes was never an issue. He would always say "anything you want to try Its not a problem." The kitchen came out better than we hoped with much thanks to Sam

Best lumber yard in rockland no question about it but lately there inventory has been slacking. I do not like to travel to Home Depot or Lowe's. I was there this week, found everything I needed this time around, but the gentleman in the back with the dreads would not get off the phone. I had to load the cement bags all by myself.

I recently came from NC to visit my folks ( 85 and 86 years old) and had a huge list of to do's to help them out. High on the list was getting their old Anderson windows fixed as they could no longer open them and to check their sliding glass doors in the back, also not able to open. Went down and spoke with Bob T who assured me he could do the job quickly, efficiently and economically.

I am home now and got a call first from Bob personally to tell me everything that was done and that my parents were happy. Then my mom called to tell me what a wonderful job he did and that the upstairs windows only needed lubricating not balancer replacements and the back door was ok ( must have been knocked off the track at one time) Not only did he do a great job but also did not do work that wasn't needed! ( a rarity today especially with older folks who aren't sure of what's needed) if you live in the area don't hesitate to use Beckerle Lumbar for any or all home needs!

They have a reputable business and actually do care about doing things right. My parents will be using them for other things that need fixing around the house and for recommending other reputable contractors for things they don't do. What a wonderful local resource! Only wish we had one here in NC!

False advertising. They sent out a post card flyer advertising a deck sale but no other information. So I called the Haverstraw location and was advised it was not really a sale. No price drop or discounts or other savings. What a waste of time. Shame on the false advertising

When you need something quick for you house intead to go to home Depot. everything you need for u house.paint.lumber, pluming, etc.in the heart of town. I recommend it.

My husband and I shopped around Beckerle in Orangeburg (no acknowledgement), then went to Congers, where they referred us to the Haverstraw store since they had a better bathroom showroom/selection. We had the great fortune of meeting Kathy Watson, who was so knowledgeable and helpful to us. She took her time and made every effort imaginable to assure we were making the right color and material choices for our needs.

We can't say enough about how pleased we were with her services, and also Sam, who did acknowledge us when he saw us standing around waiting for Kathy. He too was very professional and helpful to the other clients who came in. This will surely be our go to place, and I will recommend it to my family and friends. Thank you!

Sam assisted us in designing our new kitchen island and ordered the cabinets required for the project. We couldn't be happier with the final result. Excellent service and products!

I've been going for years as DIY homeowner and Beckerle is great. I went shopping for a new bathroom vanity and sink to HD, Lowes etc but they sell junk. Beckerle sells high quality affordable bathroom and kitchens. Plan to wait a few weeks for your order but well worth it.

Best lumber yard in all of rockland county. Very helpful. People there are wonderful. Will definitely be going back for more anyday soon
