Weldon Concrete has 3 modern plants and over 35 mixer trucks that service North Central New Jersey and can produce up to 2,000 yards of concrete per day. Weldon Concrete's technical, marketing and operations people supply contractors and masons with the highest quality mixes whether they be for a sidewalk, pool, structure, or a Port Authority project.
To ensure timely delivery of materials, a fleet of trucks and trailers are readily available through our dispatch offices. Both the Watchung & Lake Hopatcong locations are New Jersey State Approved Class B Recycling Centers. Many aggregates from these locations can contribute toward LEED certification.
Weldon Asphalt has been a major producer of hot mix asphalt in the Northern and Central New Jersey market since 1946. Weldon Asphalt has supplied contractors with HMA for driveways, parking lots, interstate highways, and airport runways. Weldon Asphalt plants include two drum-mix facilities and seven batch type plants with the capacity to handle 20,000 tons of any specified material per day.

It's all about money. The trucks are overloaded and end up dumping stones on route 181and route 15 ramp. They allow trucks such as CRA and Alloco and others with modified or no mufflers to haul for them and the noise is unbearable to say the least. The quarry should make these trucks follow Federal highway laws but it's all about making deliveries and cashing in while destroying the town with noise pollution. Not to mention the way these trucks race up and down route 15 in a dangerous manner just to make another load for the day.

Weldon is the number 1 contributor to noise pollution in lake hopatcong NJ. They allow trucks to haul from their quarry with modified mufflers and use of engine brakes from 2am till 3pm including Saturdays when you are trying to enjoy the outdoors with your family. The police must be paid off since they fail to take any action.
