The installers did a great job, and we are very happy with the finished product. Still, I would think twice before hiring them again because they were a month late and never once contacted me after I paid the deposit. I was clear from the beginning that time was of the essence, but they never even apologized for breaking their contractually agreed-upon delivery date.
They never called to keep me informed -- I had to call them whenever I wanted a status update. They gave me only vague assurances that they had gotten the permits and checked the lines -- I never did get a copy of the permit. The morning of installation, they told me to expect them between 8-9 and they didn't show up until 10:30 -- when I wrote to John (the manager) to ask how they could possibly be so far behind schedule first thing in the morning, he sent a very snippy e-mail telling me the delay was because of the distance and them having to load their truck -- as if these things were somehow unexpected. Given that I spent nearly $10k on a fence, I had expected far more conscientious and polite service from John.

Went to Builtwell fence in Fitchburg to get a quote on vinyl fencing for my new home. Their quote was reasonable and they installed 40 panels in two days! Did I mention that it was all accomplished while in the worst weather ever- 90+ degree heat and 70% humidity. Jeff listened to my request for there to be no gaps close to the ground so my dogs and cats could not get under and the fence even with the uneven pitch to the land they got the job done while keeping the upper rail all one level I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you John, Jeff and the hardworking men in your group!
