The DTI 5000 systems are designed with either pneumatic or electric pistol grip or inline (straight) tools with various rpm's and torque depending on the screw and application. Our multi-spindle screwdriver systems are custom designed and supplied as a turnkey system or as individual components to the customer. We also design X-Y-Z Point-to-Point systems using Cartesian or Scara type robots.
Our automation allows us to custom design componentry such as screwdriver platens, multi-exit feeder bowls, and supply hoppers to be integrated into production assembly lines or stand alone work cell stations.

Capable of feeding multi-spindles from a single hopper, depending on cycle time required. With the same simplistic patented design feed as the single drop off feed, the patented multi-feed can be assembled and disassembled in 20 - 30 seconds with no required tools. Each DTI 5000 is designed specifically to the customer's fastener and application.
Please call us to see if you want to blow feed the grease fitting or present it for pickup. The answer is yes. The orientation device on the feeder bowl will accommodate many variations in length in the same track. When the fastener diameter changes, then in most cases, an extra cover feed plate is required in a tools free change out.
Some issues facing the Manufacturer were manual placement of screws in the assembly process by the operators. Mishandled screws would lead to lost fasteners on the production floor or into the appliance product. For 2013, Design Tool Inc. is predicting an 8 to 10 percentage increase in Factory Automation spending in the manufacturer sector.
