Leslie Christoffel - project manager and designer for our kitchen renovation - was amazing. She listened carefully to everything we wanted for our new kitchen and designed the kitchen of our dreams. I am so glad we went with Forest Millwork for our kitchen cabinets and countertop - cabinets are big investment and we certainly got our money's worth by going with Forest Millwork.

Karen Douthitt was exceptional to work with in our kitchen reno. We needed something custom to fit in with a unique space and she designed cabinets that are beautiful and functional, all within budget. We encountered an unpredictable problem with our new refrigerator fitting properly and Karen came up with a creative solution. Forest Millwork builds a quality cabinet, and their installation team, Ken and David, were experts.

We hired Forest Millwork to replace our cabinet in our kitchen and add a new island. This is one of the worst vendors with whom we have worked. During the sales process, they were great and creative, but once the contract was signed, their real face was reviled. They had staff attrition, the person we worked with during the pre-sales left, and they didn't bother to tell us.
At that point, we should have terminated the agreement. - They completed a one month project in 4 months - The quality of the work was terrible. They didn't measure many things accurately; some cabinets were damaged when they were delivered, and some cabinets cracked before the project was even completed. - They promised to manage the project, and they did none of that - They ruined our hardwood floor and refused to fix it. - Leslie who ended up leading the project was rude to other vendors and us and not attentive to details at all (she didn't even come to see the completed product) When we started working with their team, we found out that every vendor they contracted with to complete the work had complaints about them. We chose to work with them because of the great review on Google and the pre-sales. Don't believe these positive reviews and stay away from this company.

We had an excellent experience at Forest Millwork and I couldn't be happier with our beautiful custom cabinets. Leslie Christoffel was so knowledgeable, helpful AND patient with us every step of the way. They had so many options to chose from too. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for quality cabinets.

As a designer and maker of products that I sell as kits, I have had a very good experience with Forest Millwork. Al did his best at first making bases for me with the type of wood I had been using. Then he recommended upgrading to a better quality wood. We now completed a production run with that upgrade and I am SO HAPPY with it! It is changing my life for the better since there is very little touch-up required any more and it can go straight to packaging with only an occasional oddball quality issue to catch. These folks are knowledgeable, and they really invest themselves in the success of the people and projects they work with.

We moved into a very outdated home in North Asheville. The kitchen was a total nightmare. We completely renovated the upstairs (1900+ sq/ft) including custom cabinetry and trims in the kitchen. We also created a very nice washroom area off of the kitchen that we had not planned at first. Joel was able to recommend some very cost effective materials that really make the washroom beautiful.
With Joel's help we were also able to create an incredible kitchen where we spend most of our time hanging out and of course cooking. I think that Forest Millwork has a great selection of material and the pricing was good. Probably not the cheapest in town but you get a much higher quality product and service. We had some items that were added to the punch list after completion and Stephen, the craftsman, completed and finished everything beautifully and in a timely manner for us. Joel and Forest Millwork Inc. was by far our favorite Subcontractor that we got to work with! I would use them again without hesitation.
