Full disclosure: I work here - but that gives me some of the best perspectives possible! Great community lumber yard, serving the area since 1906! I have had an affinity for stores like this for most of my life; it's awesome to be able to get great advice and help on whatever kind of project you're working on. No need to try and hunt down someone in an orange vest who runs the other direction when they see you coming.

It's also great to have a rental department in our community! Now is everything perfect? Of course not! But we are constantly striving to improve things, from product offering, to staff training, and so on. We love being a part of the PA community and appreciate the trust that you put in us!

Angeles Millwork is employee-owned, and you can tell when you compare the service from here to the service from Home Depot. They've got a wide selection of lumber, tools, plumbing, electrical, etc etc etc. You can even rent tools. Folks here are very knowledgeable and helpful. I've spent a lot of money here and I will continue to do so. It's so cool to have a not-corporate hardware store in town.

There is more to this place than just lumber. They have a rental department for hand tools, lawn and garden tools, and construction equipment of the hand operated type. The store is stocked with plumbing, electrical, hardware, household, and tools. The staff is knowledgeable in most areas and always helpful.

I always check Angeles Millwork for home repair/remodel supplies before anywhere else. They almost always have what I need, saving me a trip farther into town. The only exceptions have been specialized electrical or plumbing needs, but those are difficult to find anywhere outside of major cities. Their customer service is very solid and I've had an excellent experience with their tool rentals.

The only downside is having to drive/walk through their heavy materials loading zone to get to the front door, but their forklift drivers always seem to be very alert of cross-traffic.

Since purchasing a home Angeles Millwork & Lumber has been crucial in getting my property cleaned up. They have such a great selection of rental equipment and tons of experience to help guide you in any project.

As a home owner working on small projects I come here a lot. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are very accommodating even to the little guy, not just catering to larger contractors. For a fence that I'm building, I was able to sit down with John and he helped me select the right lumber for the project and had it delivered the next day. It's always a good idea to support great local businesses here in PA.

+ Local access to hardware - Price gouging Example: T1-11 5/8" 4'x8' sheets are $42.00 At home depot they're $31.00 "That's my best price. Do what you gotta do." He said They're not concerned about home owners like myself, they only care about pleasing contractors. That's a 32% more expensive product. This is just one example. Everything more, here. Some stuff is marked up as much as 70 or 80%.

After searching for years for a discontinued decking material to complete my deck project, I was put in touch with Mike B. over at Angeles Millwork & Lumber. He not only gave me expedited professional service, He was extremely personable, and I never felt like I was in the dark with my order. I was constantly updated. Its a very well stocked, clean lumber yard. I really couldn't be happier. The only problem I could even possible have would be its 82 miles away. Otherwise I would definitely be shopping here more.
