I'll be honest, I was happy that TOA was able to get and transfer tile I wanted(which they had previously carried) from another distributor in Miami. I paid the transfer fee, no problem. But the care in transportation, to include loading it on pallet into the bed of my truck is where I have an issue. The pallet was to low, caught my 5th wheel rail, and he just kept on going.

The pic showed that. There is so much damaged tile(not just the 2 pics I uploaded)that even after I factor in the 10% extra tile, I hope it'll be enough. I've shopped here for all my tile needs in the past, but if this is the customer service I can expect to receive, I might have to do business elsewhere. Edit 5/19/22: I did receive a call on the Monday after this incident from Bill the manager.

Bill told me he would make it right by either getting me more tile or compensation. I haven't had a chance to do this project yet, but having him call me and address my concerns spoke volumes to me about how Bill and this business addresses customer service. I will return to this business and recommend them to friends. Thank you Bill!

I went in to this tile store not sure of the tile I wanted and this young man named Jessie walked around for an hour and put up with me. What a true gentleman and an amazing salesman. He helped me pick my tile and I told him I didn't know what to buy he picked everything for me perfectly Thank you Jessie you've got such a good heart you put up with me and my indecisiveness The whole staff even the young girls at the front are so sweet and attentive. Love this store

Incredible customer service! We found a tile that was exactly what we were looking for but wanted to see it in our house with our light before purchasing. Went back 2 days later and it was sold out. AUGH! I emailed Corp. for a stock check at another store (s) and within an hour Jason Murias called me to say no, unfortunately, they were not able to pull enough from other stores but he found something for us that was almost an exact match.and get this, it was less $!

We immediately drove back over and met with Jason who had pulled the piece from the sold out sample board and set it next to what he found for us. Perfect! I can't tell you how pleased we are with both the tile and Jason. If you are looking for tons and tons of options at great prices you have to go to Tile Outlets of America and be sure to ask for Jason!

Amazing customer service. Mike/ Mgr, Javier/Asst Mgr and Jason/Sales, they are all rock stars. Jason has helped me several times with my tile needs over the years. He is so knowledgeable and help me pick everything up that I need for my tile job. I can't say enough about the great service I got from this company. When I had a problem with my tile color being off and Javier even helped me after hours by texting me to get my problem solved.

They really care about their customers and did everything possible to help me get my job done before the holidays. The whole staff from the loading guys to the girls that ring you up are amazing. Not to mention the prices are great. You can't go wrong purchasing with this company.

Why they have 50 reserved parking spots is beyond me but that's way too many for this crap business

Second time here and each visit great customer service. Nice selection to fit all budgets. They helped us with our questions since we were buying tile for our lanai.

(Changed from one star to thee after Mgr called. See update) I hurried to arrive ten min before closing. First I was almost run over by a guy driving an empty fork lift super fast. I had to yell and wave my hands. He wasn't paying attention. Got my tile box, went to pay. The register worker had shut down the till and was no where in site. An employee had to yell and go get her.

She was leaving, yet the store was still open for five minutes. She reopened the till and charged me over $100 for 24 tiles that were.49 each. I told her the math didn't make sense. She insisted they were $3.92 each. I explained that was the square feet. She did not understand although I pointed it out on the box. She rang the numbers again and said it was now $90 because she decided to give me a discount.

The price should've totaled at just over $12. So I said no thanks and got my phone from my car and showed her even online it says they're.49 cents. The guy employee said well our price is the 3.94. And blamed a ten times increase on inflation Lol. I showed it was on the Tile Outlets website. He said the store hadn't updated the web prices and shrugged.

So I explained how one square foot is eight 3x6 subway tiles. The register gal then said well I'm closed now so you'll have to come back tomorrow. She's ripping people off big time and doesn't understand calculations. Tried to charge me ten times the price. The guy just shrugged his shoulders with apathy. UPDATE: The next morning the Mgr, Mike, called me after seeing this review.

He was mortified and very apologetic, and informed me those two employees were new hires, and would have a serious conversation with them. He also insisted on bringing the box of tiles to my house, and not charging me. I was impressed with how he handled it, and will shop there again.

I've never had any problems with this place. I love my tiles. I picked the one that cost 1.47

Not an organized area to look at pool tiles and coupons. Cannot tell who's an employee or a customer, total mayhem while trying to get help with information and prices. Was not worth the hour drive to the store. Very disappointing!

The experience started off great. Everyone was helpful and we were able to get beautiful materials for what we were building. We didn't use about half of the materials which we returned in a timely manner and received a full refund. Part of our order was on backorder and once it came in, we received a call upon which I informed the individual I spoke with that we no longer needed the remaining materials and would need a refund.

This person said they would call back right away after speaking with the manager. That never happened. I have since called the store twice and left a message for a manager to call back and have spoken with a manager that was supposed to call back and never did. I'm to assume at this point we will not be receiving a refund and if I had known this was going to happen, I would NEVER have gone here. Buyers beware!

During the past few weeks my goal of finding the right tile finally came to an end after visiting Tile Outlets. Finding a quality tile and getting good service on top of that was a tremendous challenge for me. As crazy as this sounds, a number of stores I went to didn't seem to care to sell tile. This store has the service I was seeking and the inventory I desired. The staff here is great. They are knowledgeable, courteous and speak fluent Spanish as well which I loved. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are renovating our master bathroom and visited the Tampa showroom to see about new RTA cabinet selections. We were greeted by Maria, whose cheerful, can-do attitude was welcomed as a change from what we had experienced elsewhere. WIth Maria's help, we chose our cabinets and completed a new design. Twice, actually. We wanted to think about it before purchasing, so Maria saved our design and said if we decided to move forward to just give her a call and we could complete the deal by phone.

We did call and order our cabinets from TOA/Maria and let me just say that I have not had better customer service in a very long time, if ever. Maria kept us appraised of every update on our order status and even texted me a photo of the order when it arrived so I could decide if it would fit in my SUV. Bravo TOA and especially Maria!

Absolutely EXCELLENT! I wish I could give 10 stars. Let me explain. I purchased some ledger tiles and ordered some corner pieces to go with them. A long story short. the corners were wrong. Turns out that there was a problem with the supplier of the corner pieces. I spoke with a manager named Rickey. Very professional and honest with me. I sent him some pics of my project and he came up with a solution to help me AND save me money. Also, Javier was very helpful and Ash at the sales counter was awesome too.

I WILL RECOMMEND this location to all my friends and circle of influence. Being in retail for the last 22 years in Tampa ( I own T&D Golf on West Waters), I really appreciate businesses that make things right when sometimes things go wrong in life. Rickey Williams really built my loyalty to tile outlets today. Thank you for turning my stressful day into a happy one. Prices are great here. I love that their inventory is in stock and I can leave with it same day. This place came recommended to us and it was a great recommendation. The floors and shower are all from tile outlet.

5 stars for excellent customer service and inventory that is otherwise hard to find. My husband and I just recently purchased our home here in wonderful Tampa. Renovating was so much fun but so much hard work. One thing that was especially taxing was locating tile to match our existing tile after we removed some walls. I needed 4 pieces, that's all!

I went to every tile outlet/store in Tampa and Tile Outlets was my last hope. I was deflated, on my last isle there it was. Almost an identical match. Size, color, material. My day was made. A lovely gentleman saw me struggling to pick up the pallet so he assisted me. Not only to the register but to my car as well. Imagine how happy I was driving home!

When I arrived I asked my husband to grab the tiles from the back of my Jeep. All of a sudden theee was a huge crash. The strap around the box broke. (Who lifts from the strap anyways?) Every last tile was shattered. I was done. So done. Needless to say my husband was on his way back to the tile store. When my husband described the mood back at home they must have felt bad for him because they exchanged our tile for FREE. Y'all seriously does that ever happen anymore?

I couldn't believe they exchanged a $50 box of tiles for our mistake with no hassle. I am grateful Tile Outlets of America had what I needed and even more grateful for their customer service.

Great friendly service! They are professional and do not rush you. We've worked with Javier before and with another gentleman today (didn't catch his name), but my little one's balloon floated to the ceiling and they went of their way to get it for him; can't say anyone else would have done that. We've had a great experience every time we've been to that store!

Found great product here and had excellent customer service from many but especially Cris whose patience with me was amazing! Will definitely buy from them again as product prices cannot be beat!

In planning 2 home projects for replacing a fireplace surrounding wall with tile and completely renovating a bathroom, we did a lot of research and browsing. Our usual go-to home improvement places had good prices with vets discount but not much selection for tiles. Also Checked Gulf tile (limited/expensive) and the Tile Store (expensive and inattentive staff) before going to Tile Outlets, where we found great selection, competitive prices (with vet discount) and helpful staff.

We ended up buying all the fireplace tile we needed there, getting lower cost mortar and grout from HD. Our tile guys did a good job, and we had them then advise us on what we needed to buy for the bathroom, which was trickier. Again we were prepared to return to Tile Outlets, but it is not close to our home and we just received a flyer for the Grand Opening of Floor & Decor in the former location of K-Mart at Dale Mabry and Columbus. We were even more pleased there.see my separate review.

Great selection! I have to say the customer service is mixed. The first time I went, I was greeted and asked if I needed help. The 2nd time no one even acknowledged me, and they could not answer a simple question I had. They called for someone to come answer but I was not in the mood to wait ten min in a non busy time.

Great selection, prices and service. Great return policy and flexible hours too.

This place is great if you're looking for tile. The prices are much better than Home Depot, and there is so much more selection. Imagine a Home Depot full of nothing but tile and tile-related accessories. They don't have slate, but they have a wide range of marble, travertine, granite, porcellin and ceramic tiles.

Alright selections in kitchen back splashes. Lots and lots of tiles. Wish we had the option of coming here when building our house. Will definitely come back when we are ready to get some tile work done for our house.

Price, selection, value and no games is what you will find at this location. For half the price, I can count on them to have the quality I need. Different jobs call for different quality. There is no pretense or artificial airs here, just the basics but, usually very knowledgeable. I have used this vendor several times and never been disappointed. What's a girl to do? There is quality and then there is QUALITY.
