Services
Janss Lumber Company was established about 1934 by Herman Henry Janss in a partnership with E.R. Compton. Herman was the son of Dr. Henry Janss, MD, an immigrant from St. Margarethen, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and Clara Belle Jewitt Janss. Janss Lumber Company has always been at the current location at 629 East Commercial Street in Springfield, Missouri.
Our dedicated mill can help you with doors, mouldings, trim, and windows. We can assist with everything from a new set of jambs, to providing doors and windows for large scale builds. Missouri Millwork provides authorized Andersen and Plygem installation and repair services, as well as installation for interior & exterior doors.

At Janss Lumber & Missouri Millwork we believe that Professional Builders need a supplier who understands them. That's why we assign both an outside and inside sales representative to your account.
