Vermont Islands was founded in 1999 by Tom Meyer in Putney, Vermont. Over the years Vermont Islands has grown throughout the Country Club, Resort and Hospitality market. Through the guidence of our clients and designs, we have adapted our product line to best suit our customers needs. Today, we remain a family owned company staffed by hard-working Vermonters (or want to be Vermonters), building all of our products in Vermont.
After 20 years of bringing our customers ideas into beautiful, handcrafted mobile bars, service stations and cooking islands, we have refined our process to make sure all vested parties are able to get their goals achieved. We pride ourselves on being able to meet a designers aesthetics while designing a bar or service station or kitchen to meet the demands to keep your customers happy.
Natural materials tend to be warm, have an intensified depth and an eye-catching variability. They have been created over millions of years, in the case of our granite, or a few decades with our woods and veneers. Our man-made materials offer consistency and purity; these are designed to withstand the changes in temperature and environment without having to be retouched.
Your challenges become our magnum opus, these projects are always filled with excitement and experiments (and occasionally choice words and flying tools). They may take longer and cost more, but we learn vast amounts about new techniques, materials and our tooling, which only help us better serve our customers (that's you!).
