Lumber Jake Mulch

Will never do business with JK landscape supply again. I order 25 cubic yards of Cedar mulch. After they delivered the mulch, my contractors arrived the next day. My contractors who lay mulch for living told me there is no way that's 25 cubic yards of mulch. It's about 10 yards short, that's $400 short. I ordered enough mulch to have 3 inches mulch to cover the garden beds, I ended up with covering the garden beds for like less than 2 inches of mulch.

I called JK landscape about the problem, they insisted that they weighed and measured the mulch before shipping. But there is no way for me to argue with them as I can't prove it's 10 yards short. They give a $75 refund for shipping. But I will not order anything from this place in the future.

I've ordered bulk soil and wood chips from JK and have always been very happy with their service.

I called to have bag mulch delivered. When I told the lady the delivery date she gave me conflicted with my schedule and I would have to get back later, she hung up on me.click!. Poor customer service as mentioned by others below.

JK Enterprises delivered a mulch pallet to my house on time and placed it in a convenient spot. The delivery guy went above and beyond, considering the traffic.

We couldn't be happier with the service and the mulch. The driver dropped our mulch right where we needed it and the it was the perfect type for the playground.

I've ordered mulch from JK Enterprise for a few years now. The mulch is the best quality I've found and is delivered the next day. The driver calls you on the way and confirms the drop off location upon arrival. Their customer service went above and beyond helping with a credit from last year. They were able to apply it to a new order and my soil was delivered the next day. I will continue to use JK enterprise for all my future landscaping needs. They're awesome.

Always trying to support local businesses, I called to inquire about a line of pavers/hardscaping supplies that their website claims they carry. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly curt and rather unfriendly (Hates her job?! Regardless, not a positive first impression). She transferred me to their garden center, where another not-so-friendly voice answered and replied "No, we do not." Such a pleasant response.lol. A) Take the misinformation off of your website that you carry Belgard pavers, because apparently to Miss Happy and Mrs Friendly you absolutely do not! B) Remind your employees that the first line of communications sets the tone for your entire company. Sorry I wasted time even trying to support local business.back to the box store I go.*sigh*

Be careful with these guys. I just had leaf compost installed (their blower service) and it killed my lawn. The Compost was immature (hadn't finished composting) and the result is what's called "hot compost". Since it continues composting while on your lawn, it burns it. Now I have 2 acres of yellow and burnt lawn. I've asked for remediation support.

Let's see what they do. UPDATE: After contacting JK Enterprises and informing them of my problem above, they got back to me pretty quickly and apologized for the bad compost and immediately refunded my money. They also offer to help restore the damaged lawn by providing seed. I found them to be very professional and responsible. Therefore I am updating my rating to 3 versus 1. Still wish the compost installation didn't damage my lawn, but they took responsibility for it.

I won't be using this company again. I purchased some firewood from them last year and probably about 1/3 of it was so small it could only be used for kindling. I thought I'd give them another try this year and, about half of it is cut so long I can't get it in the wood stove. Some of the pieces are 30 - 35 inches long so I have to go through and use what I can and then chainsaw the others up.

I guess the worse thing is I emailed them to let them know there was a problem and they didn't even have the decency to respond. Seems like for the prices they charge they would be more careful of what they're giving you and at least provide at least some customer service

I ordered some landscape boulders for my newly renovated backyard from JK. Not only did they help advise me about the different landscaping rocks and boulders I had to choose from, they gave me different options to choose from. I found them to be very helpful and their pricing was lower than other landscape supply companies. I would recommend them if you are looking for landscaping boulders and rocks.
