Yager Materials is a premier construction aggregate supplier and distributor along the Ohio River and the tristate region around Owensboro-Daviess County. We offer a large assortment of construction materials including sands and fine aggregates, dense-grades, coarse aggregates, and armor stone. Through our retail yards, we are able to meet the demand for large commercial, DOT and Oil & Gas related construction projects. We also happily serve the local retail market for contractors, landscapers, and smaller residential builds.
Yager Materials is a provider of the high-calcium limestone that is used for flue-gas desulfurization. Commonly called scrubber stone, this type of limestone is ideal as an ingredient in the process to remove sulfur-dioxide from emissions generated by burning coal. With a plentiful supply of high-calcium scrubber stone and convenient access to river transport, Yager materials is able to process and deliver a high-quality, clean product to coal-fired power plants with great efficiency.
Yager Materials operates four ready-mix concrete plants in Western Kentucky, supplying top-quality concrete for any application. As one of the leading concrete providers in the region, Yager Materials has supplied commercial projects as well as residential. In addition to private sector projects, Yager Materials has delivered concrete for numerous public projects at the local, state and federal level. With plants in Owensboro, Beaver Dam and Hawesville, we can get our concrete to your project.
Yager Materials manufactures asphalt using a water injection system that allows for production at a lower temperature than traditional processes. This warm-mix technology provides a more environmentally friendly asphalt pavement with lower energy use and reduced fumes. With the reduced mix temperature we can increase recycling of asphalt on site and achieve better compaction.
