We recently had 5 motorized roller shutters installed on our Florida home by Weather Guard Inc. of Ormond Beach, Fl. This job completed phase three (of 4) to cover all doors and windows in our home. The installer Dan did an outstanding job, he worked alone and completed the project in a professional manner on time and exactly as I had requested. I've had several shutters placed over the last 3 years, accordions on 2nd floor side windows roll downs on the 2nd story balcony window and French doors. Doug, the salesman has always been responsive and helpful with recommendations. The service has always been prompt and timely. The front office takes care of permitting and scheduling the work and follow up inspections by the County. I give WeatherGuard 5 stars, a very reputable professional company.

Recently my wife and I decided to get hurricane shutters for our house windows. We went to Weather Guard in Ormond Beach and they sent out a person to measure and write up a quote. They are not cheap, but made very well and comes with a warranty as well as choice of colors. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. This will sure beat putting up the wood.
Due to people not shopping much during COVID months, they are starting now to get booked up. Ours won't be installed until August, but nothing we can do about it. If interested, I suggest you hurry in to talk to them. It may say a lot of damage, make it easier on you, and possibly lower home owners insurance

Do not go with these people if you are looking for quality along with exceptional warranty. I am an electrician and I've been to multiple houses where these shutters have issues with their alignments and not working properly. normally I don't go in on a company like this but I just left the most sweetest ladies houseand they won't fix the shutters they installed less than 2 years ago when it is been an alignment issue since they installed.also the lady answering your phone is very rude do-not-call there's many other places that would love the business and would treat you as a valued customer

As a fellow business owner I'm not easily impressed but Jim and his team at Weather Guard have never let me down and they continue to impress me long after the Job was complete. The install and final product were outstanding. I recently had a service call and the work was finished in a timely and clean manner. Highly recommend Weather Guard.

Worst company EVER. They were hired to re install hurricane shutters in my beach side building after a remodel. Today, when we needed them most, for Hurricane Matthew, the shutters wouldn't come down. When I called the phone went unanswered and the voice mail box was full. You broke my DAMN shutters before the worst hurricane in the history of FL. If my windows break due to your negligence, you will be paying for the damage.

Would have used a negative number if available. Paid several thousands of dollars for hurricane shutters for a beachside house 2 years ago. When I need them, a $2,700 shutter would not close completely. When I called them after the storm, they came out and said "when you are on the beach these things are not built to withstand the salt air"? Really? They said they would give me a price to fix them, and replace/repair 2 others, but now they will not even return a phone call? Don't use them.
