Less than 1 if possible. The summary of below is that they only want to sell a "kit" and your on your own.they could care less about your project unless your willing to pay something 1st blindly. If that is what you want then this place is perfect for you. I however, want to have all the details, worked out before I end up with big $$$ issues when I assemble.
They should be able to provide basic concrete requirement for a building they engineer! Read below if you want details. I called, emailed and spoke with several companies about my proposed $40,000 shop (steel kit cost only). When I spoke with JD Williams I certainly felt like he was doing me a favor to even be speaking with me. He was very polite.but offered nothing and likewise remembered nothing after speaking and emailing him about my requirements several times.
A female secretary or assistant i spoke with by chance seemed to understand, remember and provide me with far more help with design and configuration than Mr. William's. After asking specific questions about pricing and specs for quoting the concrete cost, it was clear that he was only concerned about the sale of "steel". I had corrected his incorrect drawings and sent them back and he still failed to even acknowledge the changes.
I was told that most buyers simply "buy the kit and worry about concrete cost later"!? I was then told I needed to pay $800 for a concrete engineering drawing based on my city requirements so I would know how much concrete I would need to quote. What a joke this guy is, and maybe the company is too if they allow him to be a salesman. Maybe $40k is nothing to them.
Why not just make your sales number a 888 number and you can charge by the minute when customers call in? Better yet, just put the minimum price you want before you actually care and do something? 40k ain't it. I'll never spend a dime with your company. I will spend time letting everyone know about my experience.

Here is a letter I wrote the company president: Hello, Mr. Freeman. I bought a building from you in 2002. Recently it was damaged and I needed 3 panels to match for the repair. I called your place and Coriann was my salesperson. It is rare that I have occasion to comment on service or lack of service I receive from companies. But I had to take the time to send this email.
My order was very small, only $350, but Coriann gave me the attention usually reserved by most companies only for the largest of customers. She was very efficient, polite and effective-----traits I rarely see any more in normal conduct of business. She (and your company) provided me with the kind of responsiveness and service we took for granted in the 60s and 70s-something that has long been extinct.
It was a pleasure to remember just how smoothly life can be with competent people caring about what they are doing-even when selling 3 panels to a guy several states away. You and your company should be commended for providing this type of service, and I just wanted to show my appreciation. Hopefully, no more trucks will drive into my building and damage it, but if they do I will be calling again.
And if I ever get a chance to recommend ARCO to anyone, I will go out of my way to do it. I was happy when the building went up, and I am happy 15 years later when it needed repaired. So thanks to Coriann and Arco. Bill Pepper Charleston, W V

In 2014 and 2015, it's nice to know that great Customer Service stills exists. I thought 'steel was steel.' What I learned is that the planning and parts are what make the difference. The Customer Service folks provide answers that save big money AND big time. A big shout-out to Arco's team for making steel building projects a success.

I have had my building from Arco for several years, emailed them a couple of pictures of the doors I have and they hooked me up right away. Received the operators on Friday March 13, 2015 and installed them this past weekend. Went perfectly, hooked up easy even for a non-electrical person like me. Perfect product, will be letting every person I know that needs this type stuff to email you.
Couldn't be happier with the product and the installation. I hope to have many years of trouble free operation with the openers. Thanks for all your work on this project. Customer service, TOP NOTCH, especially Marcia, awesome job. Tim
