We worked with the Heartland team to build a home in late 2011 and took possession in winter February of 2012. We've been in the home for six years now and have no complaints. If anything went wrong it was minor, and Heartland has always been there to stand behind their work. Initially, my wife was very hesitant to engage in the building process, but in the end she was extremely happy that we did so. Working with the heartland team ended up being a great experience and we would not hesitate to use them again if faced with that opportunity.

We built our home with Rich and his team in 2015 and love our home as much today as when we moved in. Their attention to detail and planning through the whole process made building our home enjoyable with little stress. Great architect and interior designer provided the perfect floor plan and beautiful finishes. The "co-construct" software made selections easy and prices transparent as we were able to communicate with Heartland's team every step of the building process. We would not hesitate to build with Heartland again.

Heartland did an awesome job building our home! Very thorough in their process making it a stress-free home building experience (yes, I said stress-FREE!). Their team is very responsive to any and all questions. Also, the job site was so neat and orderly! They made the building process fun and easy.

Heartland built our home in 2017 and we love it! They made the building process so easy and seamless and our new home is beautiful. From the initial design process to the high quality materials and craftsmanship, Heartland built the home of our dreams. They were generous and prompt with our warranty requests and we would 100% recommend them to friends, family or anybody looking to build a great home in the Grand Rapids area!

The summary of my experience with Heartland is they exceeded all my expectations, completed my house 2 weeks ahead of schedule, and were exactly on budget. The longer review follows: If you are looking for a builder in West Michigan look no further than Heartland. They made the building process fun. Communication through the process was open, frequent, clear, and honest.
They worked with us to create a design that met our needs, worked within our budget, listened to our ideas and concerns, and built us a home that we absolutely love. We have been in the home about 6 months, and we still received calls and e-mails to ensure we are happy with the home, any minor warranty issues are being addressed, and that they are receiving our feedback to improve their processes. I can't recommend Heartland highly enough.
