Tahoe Fence was the Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation "Business of the Year" for 2016. For 8 seasons in a row (2009 - 2016), Tahoe Fence donated temporary fencing to the Arlington Square Ice Rink in downtown Carson City. In addition, the Company donated temporary fencing to ST. Teresa's 2016 Fall Festival.
Tahoe Fence stocks a wide variety of wire materials for you to select from, including: barbed wire, field fence, nonclimb, weld wire, galvanized chain link, and vinyl coated chain link. Vinyl coated chain link fences are very popular around the Lake Tahoe area. One reason is because many planning codes require them.
The vast majority of wood materials Tahoe Fence sells, repairs, and installs are untreated redwood and cedar. We stock pressure treated wood and lodge pole as well. While most of our wood fences are built on wood posts (such as 4x4s, 4x6s, 6x6s, and 8x8s), it is possible to construct most styles on metal posts.
And similar to our chain link and wood fences, we are able to install an iron fence for you on either metal or wood posts. Usually we concrete posts for steel fences in the ground; however, we can attach your steel fence almost anywhere. Most styles of ornamental steel Tahoe Fence carries comes in two grades: Standard, which we refer to as our residential type of iron; And commercial, a sturdier and thicker version we recommend for heavy snow load areas and industrial sites.We usually stair step the height of your ornamental steel fence to follow the grade changes in the ground.

The whole process was excellent. The estimator, Chris, was prompt and provided us with a good detailed estimate. We changed several things since the original estimate and he was prompt on getting us the new estimates. When the install came Miro and Alfonso were just fantastic. Miro was the lead and would every so often check in with us to make sure we were happy with their work.
They found some issues on getting the poles down deep enough so they had their shop fabricate some braces that will steady the fence. They did a great job, were fun to work with and were very professional.

Such a nice upgrade to our perimeter fence. I was informed on a daily basis when the workers would be on site. The guys were professional, efficient, friendly, showed up on time and cleaned up after the job was complete. Tahoe Fence will continue to be our preferred vendor for any work that needs done. Tahoe Fence built me a fence with 2 slidings gates for my 2 driveways and did a great job! When the harsh tahoe winter weather caused a few challanges with the gates they came back and did the proper maintenance to get them functioning great again. That shows the integrity of this company and that they stand behind their work! Highly recommend.
