Part of owning beautiful ironwork is taking care of it. We offer a complete restoration-maintenance package that will beautify and prolong the life of your ironwork indefinitely. Often, it's not necessary to completely tear the old work down and replace it in its entirety. We'll help you do the job as economically as possible.
Window guards are sometimes called "Security Bars." We can assist you in the placement of such bars over your windows. The added security they provide will allow you to feel safe, and at the same time, we can make them elegant and decorative. Worth Iron Company can come to your home or office and provide estimates on these products, too.
I started at Worth Iron Co as a welding co-op from NMTCC and worked there during my high school and college years. The work environment promotes learning, creativity, and teamwork. The team at Worth Iron Co helped me grow my skill set in the custom metal fabrication industry. I learned everything from estimating and marketing to custom fabrication and installation.
Established in 1950, Worth Iron Company is one of Philadelphia's oldest and most experienced iron companies. All exterior posts and pickets are solid steel, not tubing (except "no frills" or when specified by customer). All large, hand bent, custom scrolls are made of 1/4" x 1/2" stock, and small scrolls are made of 3/16" x 1/2" stock, which prohibits disfigurement.

Tom and his crew were such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I were torn between two styles. and it was great that they gave us the freedom to merge the two to create our own tailored look. I have used Worth Iron for a couple projects around my house and they have always delivered what I requested and in a timely manner. They recently replaced sections of my wrought iron fence that a tree fell on. They had to make the sections from scratch and they replicated it to an exact match. More than exceeded more expectations.

They were everything I could have asked for and more. The owner is friendly, and the estimate was free, fast and convenient. The prices were great for the quality you get. They made mine custom and it hardly took any extra time at all. I've had my rail for about 8 years now and have seen no signs of rust whatsoever.

Tom and his team did a great job repairing and painting my fire escape and ornamental ironwork at my home in Center City. The team took great care in everything they did. They were also very responsive upfront in coming out and giving me a quote. Would highly recommend if you are looking for work to be done on your ironwork or if you wanted to design something new.
