Heath Lumber The history of Heath Lumber Company has played an important role in the building of the surrounding communities. There are prominent New Jersey landmarks to which Heath Lumber contributed. For instance, during the Civil War, John A Roebling contracted Heath Lumber for bricks to erect the Roebling Plant in Trenton. Fort Dix had lumber delivered by horse and wagon for construction of barracks and other buildings. If you who have ever walked the Atlantic City boardwalk, it was originally supplied from Heath Lumber.

AJ Moody is one of the best building supply salespeople I have ever dealt with. I've been dealing with nightmare building supply sales people for over twenty years. Highly recommended.

Great customer service, quick response to email enquries. Yesterday I arrived to the office on North Olden Ave to purchase and pick up my cellar door. From start to finish all the people Were just phenomenal. Everyone just made you feel like family, they wanted you to have a great experience doing business with the company, unlike the other big chain stores.

Therefore I decided to change my review from the initial four to a well deserved FIVE STARS. . Miss Finola thanks again for your assistance in making my purchase as flawless as possible. Dionne.

Finola has helped me work through multiple complex Andersen orders and is always prompt and professional. Easy in and out in a well designed yard, no lines no waiting. Thanks!

Knowledgeable staff, hard to find cedar siding locally. You could go to Opdyke and be ignored for a few hours. The yard staff are super helpful, asked if I need help loading (as if I would let someone else stack 16 footers on my roof rack) still very cool they are willing to hep.

I have worked with most of the team at Heath on multiple projects. They are a great local company. Finola is awesome and is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Heath lumber to friends and family!

These people are Fiberon dealer. I used their online deck designer for my future deck. Went there with my printed plan and material list and asked for price quote to provide Hopewell Twp with accurate material and labour cost to get a building permit. The guy, Len took the plan and promised he would get back to me the next day with the calculations.

This never happened, I called him 3 times and he was always saying I'll have it ready for you within an hour. It's been 3 weeks so far. These people suck and are unprofessional, stay away. There are more places out there where they will treat you better. By the way, I did all the plans and calculations myself and my township accepted it and I have my permit.

Not a pleasant transaction with Heath Lumber. I ordered an Andersen door from them that was defective upon delivery (confirmed by contractor). Heath had me take photos and explain what the issue was and stated they would be out to inspect the door. After three calls/messages from Heath that they were coming, still no one has arrived and it's been over a month.

The onus has fallen on me to contact Andersen myself after Heath assured me they would handle the problem. I would reconsider purchasing anything special order from Heath Lumber.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Finola on my window and door selections. The time she spent with me and the suggestions she made were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to renovate or build a new home.

I like to support local, independent stores. I get very frustrated dealing with chain stores/corporations when there is a problem with a product or service (and it's usually pretty difficult finding a store sales person that can answer questions!). I recently had a problem with the type of door that was installed in my house that I ordered through Heath Lumber in Ewing.

They had ordered the wrong type by mistake and when I called the owner, Gary, about this error, he responded immediately about it. He said that they would replace the door at no additional cost to me. I was very happy to see an owner stand by his products and services. When I visit their store or call with questions, the staff always responds quickly - they have excellent customer service.

I have been a loyal customer of Heath Lumber Company for the past 5 years. I am slowly renovating my home and have needed their guidance and products. One particular project which stands out to me is the recent replacement of my 3 entry doors. Finola was very knowledgeable regarding the Therma- Tru brand of doors. Her expertise was superb in selecting the design that would fit my needs and the configuration of my home. All in all, Heath Lumber is a first class business and I regularly recommend them to all of my associates.

Terrible experience with this company. We ordered premium plywood (at a premium cost), and 17 of the sheets arrived damaged. They agreed to replace them when I showed them photos of the damage, but the sheets they delivered as replacements were in worse shape than the first ones. Their manager acted like we were being unreasonable picky about it and rather than just give us decent replacement sheets, made us return the entire order.

To top it off, the extra man they sent failed to show up so I had to help the driver move 50 sheets of plywood onto his truck myself! I wasted time, effort, and delayed my project by dealing with these people, who clearly don't stand by their product or good customer service. Do business with them at your own risk!
