Kansas City Deck Supply was founded in 2003 to meet the growing demand for high quality decking and railing in the Kansas City Market. Before our 4000 square foot showroom was opened consumers and builders had no option but to go to a box store or lumberyard and were shown a 6 piece of decking and were asked to visualize what their outdoor living space would look like.

I stopped in and picked up samples of decking materials, made my selection and was ready to place an order, but they never provided me the the requested quote or the estimated delivery date. They said they would check with their supplier but never called me back. Lousy customer service. I spent over $3k with another retailer.

This company actually has great wood. It's straight and is high in quality. More expensive than box stores but then the box store doesn't have this type of wood.

If I could rate less I would. I called for some information the man was rude and completely not helpful, Did not inquire about my project or tr y to offer hid knowledge or advise. So much for supporting local small guy. On my way to large box store with knowledgeable help and friendly service.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Asks questions about deck environment to get you the right fit without up selling. The showroom is very well laid out to give you a good feel for what your deck will look like. Only wish is that they had better weekend hours.
