Do away with tracking in chemicals that would cause unsightly white stains on carpeting. Only a flick of the switch starts the melting process (usually only three to four hours needed to rid step of most ice and snow, depending on snowfall and outside temperature). 240 volt mats are standard. Other voltages are available upon special request.

To the right is one method we use for installing a standard Shawnee set of steps in a terrace. The side walls are cut away to allow the unit to float more with the frost, thus preventing the step from jacking itself out of the terrace from frost action.

FIRE CISTERNS are reliable year round water sources for fire fighting, often required when there is no central piped water supply in the area. Providing such a fire cistern in compliance with the local fire department's design and storage volume requirement may reduce insurance premiums and create a valuable emergency water resource available to the entire community.
