Georgia Hardwoods has been a leading distributor of quality plywood, lumber and hardware products since 1988. We have partnered with some of the industries' most well-known vendors to give you the quality and service that is demanded. In 1997, Georgia Hardwoods entered into manufacturing by producing high quality raised panel doors, drawer fronts and MDF thermofoil wrapped doors. Due to customer interest, we also included the manufacturing of hardwood mouldings to complement our line of plywood and doors.

DO NOT BUY These guys are awful. I puchased cabinent doors from them for my kitchen. They started shipping within 2 months. They refused to replace the chipped doors or to do anything to fix the problem other than having me BUY MORE DOORS from them. The product is garbage and their service is worse. AVOID THEM!

I am just starting out with crafting a few projects. Went there and thought I would have to deal with the 'lumber mill angry guys' like I have been told about. However, the two guys that helped me at the counter were awesome. They were helpful and showed me 'the ropes' of where things were and how to find what I am looking for. I am planning on going back again today!

No website, hardly able to figure out pricings. Location is shiesty, especially when you're coming from out of town. Store hours vary daily even when they say they're open on the website they're most likely closed. Employees have no idea what they're talking about or dealing with in any area of the store. Worst place to go to to get supplies.
Definitely the cheapest if you're willing to go out of your way to find the place and if you're lucky enough for them to be open & you're willing to spend a lot of time sorting through there crap that you need to find to do a job. I give Georgia Hardwood the poorest review out of any hardwood stores. By the way I am not a disgruntled employee and I haven't been done wrong by any of their employees just basic facts of the best review that I could give. This also goes for me and my crew of 12. I've been in the hardwood flooring business for over 20 years and this is the most disappointing store ever been to.

Ordered 8 poplar doors 20" x 14", 2 doors ended up warping but Ga Hardwoods would not take any responsibility for this even though we primed the doors within one week of receiving them. the 2 doors that warped were obviously defective. This is my first experience with Ga Hardwood and I suspect it will be my last. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You would be better off taking your business to Harris Door, also located in Buford.

I have purchased from them several times but always paid cash. My usual vendor could not get material out next day so I called them at 4:30 they said the could get the order out next day. Come next day and I am told order did not make it out and it would go out next day. I also had to fill out CC authorization form for them to process Credit card, I told them I want to see invoice before they ever run card.
Then once material is ordered I see it is wrong material (they sent MDF core when it was supposed to be solid plywood). I told them no biggie I needed some other stuff too and that they could just ship the new stuff with the replacement material and pick up the wrong material they sent. Then they run my CC again for not only the new material I was ordering ($100 roughly) but also $600 for the replacement material and did so immediately without me getting an invoice.
In other words they delivered the wrong stuff and were charging me for covering the cost of the new stuff and the replacement material that was their mistake. It is now 3 days later and the credit for the material they picked up has not been submitted. I have now asked for 3 days for a invoice and a immediate credit and received no reply. I am calling my bank to reverse charges and will never do business with them again.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! On June 25th (there about) I dropped off the plans for 5 cabinet doors along with a sample door to match the color. On July 25th I picked up the doors that they said were finished. On July 26th I returned the doors because they were not at all the color that I needed they were way too dark and brown to go with cherry cabinets.
Today Sept.4th we picked up the doors again.now 3 months has passed and the doors DO NOT MATCH. These are way too light and I question that they are even cherry wood and not birch. 3 months, 3 months and they still cannot get it right. Not to mention there's this one guy there that is extremely rude named Scott. He actually had the audacity to tell me that " you are not our only customer, we cater to builders not individuals" after I called to see why my cabinets weren't being worked on 3 days after I returned them to fix after being told they would work on them the following day. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CABINET DOORS THERE, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.
