In 1995, the Hunter family acquired D.A. Collins Refractories, a business begun in 1964. Industry Services Co., Inc. was bought by D.A. Collins Refractories in 2000, retaining the ISCI name and Mobile, AL becoming our headquarters. Industry Services has worked diligently in recent years to broaden its capabilities, acquiring multiple companies with expansive capabilities to best serve customers.

Industry Services has 50+ years experience providing companies with a wide array of specialty works listed below. In the refractory industry, we are able to provide our customers the skill and personnel to provide brick linings, gunite linings, fiber linings, shotcrete, forming and pumping, and ramming plastic.

1. Plant Maintenance which includes safety, site management, planning/scheduling, and maintenance. 2. Industry Services is authorized to perform onsite repairs of boilers and pressure vessel (NBIC R Stamp). 3. We specialize in the installation, maintenance, reconditioned and repair of kiln and kiln related equipment and parts.

Our program is designed to provide a safe working environment for our employees, for plant personnel, and for other contractors working on-site. A company safety manager is responsible from start to finish for ensuring that employees are properly trained, fully educated, and adhering to the policies and procedures outlined in our safety manual. At Industry Services, we maintain our own equipment and strive to prevent damages in order to prevent injuries and project downtime.
