Joe Ward and Bill Foster founded Masonry Products Sales in 1954. They were brick masons who took the initiative to begin supplying the products for their own jobs. Soon, other masons called them to supply brick for their jobs as well. Beginning modestly and without debt, Masonry Products opened its doors on leased property at its current New Orleans Mid-City location.
Ron Foster, since 1976, leads a team of specialized office staff and sales teams in company locations on both the Northshore and the Southshore in the Greater New Orleans Area. Tracy began as a fireplace installer in 1995, and after several positions at Masonry Products Sales and Foster-Taylor Fireplaces, he has managed the Mandeville Facility for many years.
There aren't many builders or developers in the Greater New Orleans area that Masonry Products has not had the pleasure of working with over the past 65+ years of doing business in this market. I just left there trying to buy bricks. The white guy, bald head with a beard was very unhelpful and unpleasant. He asked how soon I needed bricks, I said like yesterday. His response, we're delivering next week. No problem. However, the problem is. When asked about bricks and him showing me around. He then had either an attitude or a problem with it.
He wouldn't walk me around to show me about different bricks. When asked if he could help, his response, "well is your house, you have to decide" I understand that but I don't knoe anything about bricks. He was very nasty and rude and I would NEVER shop or recommend. His white counterpart didn't offer his assistance either. Not sure if it's because I was black or because they don't care. Either way, I would never shop jere and would never offer anyone to go there!

Literally worst customer service ever. I got their exactly at 4:29pm. As I got out of my truck the guy I saw the guy lock the door in front of me. I looked at my phone and it was 4:30. Now I only wanted a single bag of their special mortar mix but come on now. Locking the door in front of someone that rushed here and called a head of time. I can understand if it was after 4:30 but the guy literally was standing at the door and locked it and walked away as I was walking away.
I'm not from down here, but it's inline with all the other garbage service, products, and work ethic I've experienced in 8 years of New Orleans. Needless to say they won't be getting business when I need larger orders. I'd rather drive my products in from elsewhere.
