Great company and equally great products. I decided to try wood carving as a hobby and after much research among other reputable brands (Pfeil, BeaverCraft, Auriou, Ashley Iles etc etc) I bought Flexcut KN115 to give it a proper start. The quality of the steel is impressive and the ergonomic shape of the handle shows that the knives were made by the true professionals - very comfortable.
There was minor issue with the polishing compound, which came with the kit. It was stone dry. I contacted the customer service and they really stood up behind their product and sent me a new paste at no charge to Canada. Will certainly buy from them again.

Absolutely love the micro palm set. I've been using it for my rubber blocks for printmaking and I've tried them out for a month before I wanted to write about how comfortable, sharp, and useful they are to use. The flat part of the tool has been great for placing my finger to get an amazing controlled carve. The micro set is the best set for me who wants to get finer details in my illustrations. Totally recommend this set for its comfort in its handle and the effectiveness of the sharp tool for my art.

I actually did enjoy Flexcut for some time. I recently found out a few items of note that didn't sit well with me. Being someone whom is classified as an international buyer of their products, coming from Canada. I noticed many details from their social media accounts that seemed very one sided. When I looked deeper, I was proven right. I have to say that from that point, I have stopped following, stopped openly endorsing, and in process of getting rid of thier knives to update my tool kits with better, reputable brand names. Companies that actually care about where in the world the sales are coming from. Sorry boys, lost another user.

I had an issue with my original peice. I sent an email with pictures. Customer service was great and friendly. They immediately took good care of me and are replacing my purchase with no problem. When I receive the replacement and it works fine, I will rate 5 stars for outstanding performance and service.

I just bought a Flex Cut kit from Lee Valley in Toronto Ontario and to say I am disappointed I would be understating this statement. When I got home I didn't have the chance to try it out right away and had time to do so today. What I find was that the DVD didn't work on my computer as I thought and there was a crack in the heel area of the boot that was approximately 1 1/2 inches long, another disappointment. I did appreciate the tools but every other aspect was not even close to meet my expectations. Sorry it didn't work out with Flex Tool but.there you go!

I am a spooncarver and have been using the Flexcut Whittler's Kit for about a week now - I love these little knives. They're sharp and strong and comfortable in the hand. The littlest is great for small spaces (like between the tines of a fork) and they both do well for kolrosing. They're excellent additions to my arsenal. I've also got the flexcut block strop and stropping compound - it's my first experience with stropping and so far, so good

Flexcut's customer service is wonderful! The quality of their tools superb! I used the Flexcut Pocket Jack for Carvin' for the majority of this spoon: the straight blade for most of the shaping, straight blade and scorp for the bowl, and v-tool for etching the handle design. I carved this spoon over the period of a couple of days. It was easy to take my spoon blank on the go and carve whenever I was able or felt like it because the pocket knife contained all the blades needed for this.
If you want a knife for on the go with multiple shaping advantages all in one: this Pocket Jack is the way to go! In carving the bowl of this spoon, I used Flexcut's Spear Point Variable Radius Hook Knife The double sided blade is a really nice feature making it easy to carve back and forth if needed or to easily change direction. The spear tip is great for achieving a smooth cut on the bottom center of the bowl.
