Hess Windows

We had a great experience with Hess Windows and their pricing was very competitive. The installers were very respectful with us and kept the work area very clean. The owners Kevin and Matt, gave us a date for install and they met the install date. We were told that it most likely was a 1 day job but it ended up taking a day and a half. Rather than rescheduling the extra half a day they returned first thing the next day and stayed until completion.

We had all the windows in our 30 year old house replaced. Due to the Pandemic we had to wait almost a year for this day to come. Thankfully the weather was good and the two workers Mike and Brady, banged them out in - 11 windows in two days. They worked efficiently and in sync. Getting the windows installed and trimmed on the inside in one day and then finishing the exterior trim the second day.

The work went quickly. Everything looks great. The windows are a long awaited improvement to our house. We are pleased with the installation, the quality of the installation, and the windows themselves. We would recommend Hess to anyone who asks.

My experience with Hess Windows was fabulous. I live in a condo and the Sales Person "Matt" knew exactly what regulations I needed to follow and showed me the perfect window for my needs. When installation time came, I had an issue with my schedule and "Matt" from installation understood my concerns and worked with me. The three gentlemen that installed the windows were friendly and efficient.

I own an older home which makes it more difficult to make things like windows and doors fit when they need replacing. From the initial visit for the estimate to the measuring to the install of my windows and doors, everyone was very nice and professional. Blaine and Brady handled the installation. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

The quality is great. No more drafts and its even quieter. I would definitely recommend Hess Windows and Doors! I just wish I could afford to replace the rest of my windows, I would call them.

Good things come to those who wait! Supply chain delays were less than ideal, but that was no fault of Hess Windows. Hess Windows and Doors have done work for me for 7 years at two of my homes. In fact to be specific, 5 outside doors and 17 windows! Every single one of them made of the highest quality material. Though I had several liners fail (moisture inside) due to manufacture error, Matt replaced them perfectly. I can give them multiple STARS and a most enthusiastic recommendation. We just had a patio slider installed and I can't say enough great things about the entire experience! Blaine and Brady came right on time. They were professional and personable with great skills and did an outstanding job! We are beyond happy and proud of our beautiful new door. Thank you Hess Windows & Doors - I love the new windows. Recently 13 windows were installed at my home. Steve W. and Tanner V.'s workmanship and care was evident at all times. They were polite, detail oriented, on-time, and courteous. My home was treated with respect, drop clothes used at all times, and all debris was removed inside and outside. I highly recommend Hess (and Steve and Tanner) for your next window or door project.

They seemed very confused about bidding for a project and provided information that pertained to another customer (not me.) When they said there would be a long wait for a single window installation, I ordered one from a custom maker because they told me they are hard to source. Then they declined to install it because I purchased from someone else. Their work may be good (I can't say since they wouldn't do it) but there bidding process needs to be improved.

I have gotten all my house doors and windows done by Hess. Everyone loves the speakeasy door which is a great enhancement to the front door. They also installed the sliding glass door to the patio that has a deadbolt lock in addition to the traditional latch lock, which I have never seen on any other sliding door. I liked the windows so much that I installed them at my office which is in a busy street.

I noticed immediately that there was significant sound deadening compared to the old windows. It has only been a few months but my Kw hours has been slightly lower as compared to last year. I trust that I'm getting a good price (ask for Matt) and an honest opinion not just salesmanship. The installers are top notch and the product is manufactured in the USA. Very happy with this company and it's people!

We bought a huge window about 22 years ago through Hess. Recently the seal in one side of the window failed. Hess stood by a 22 year old product, contacted the manufacturer and worked with us through the process of replacing the window. They stand behind their product! Kevan and Matt were wonderful to work with. I would recommend them heartily.

We contracted with Hess Windows in February and had 15 windows replaced in our home in Macungie, a 55+active lifestyle community. Matt Goodwin, sales, came to our home, talked to us about which windows to start with, and was extremely informative about the windows he would recommend. We had already had sales people from major, national & some other local window companies in and were not impressed with the information they provided and the comparative information that was presented regarding other companies. Matt was extremely professional and understanding of our situation.

We signed contract with Matt in February, had a visit shortly there after for a final measuring session, and windows were installed by mid March 2018. All personnel working on the windows were extremely professional, prompt, thorough, and extremely courteous. The installers did an excellent job in a very acceptable amount of time, exactly as the job was described to us by Matt Goodwin.

We were, and still are, amazed at how well three very efficient installers completed 15 large windows in 2 short days, working inside and outside our home. They worked consistently for both days and cleaned up each day at the close of their work day. Finally, the windows open and close easily and tilt in to be cleaned very easily. The installers demonstrated the both procedures and watched as we repeated the procedures.

It is EASY! In our opinion, considering quality of product, workmanship, and price, we could not have done as well with any other company. Follow up on the project has been excellent to confirm how happy we are with the job. Hopefully, next year we will be able to replace the other windows in our home and we will go no further than Hess Windows for the next 12 windows and possibly some doors.

In addition, the temperature in parts of our home (before window replacements were in) varied by 10 degrees from room to room) has leveled out to have a differential of only 2 1/2 degrees with lots of windows and very high cathedral ceilings. THANK YOU, Jeff, Matt, and your installation crew!

Got a quote from Hess rep on my 1903 home. WOW the price was very high! Went to Home Depot bought Andersen widows had a local contractor install them. Saved over a 100 bucks per window and have a higher quality window that will stay energy efficient for my life time. Vinyl windows have about a 15 years of life, I guess that's why they don't put there company names on the glass, the higher end widow company's proudly display there company and there life efficiency is 35 to 50 years. Hess mite be a good company but they're quote was a lot of money to install a low end window!

After purchasing a home originally built in the 1920s we have slowly made various upgrades. After several storms wreaked havoc on our front screen door we decided it was time to research a full replacement package including front / back entry and screen doors. We solicited several bids, discussed with one another, and ended up using Hess. The Hess Window Company has been in business in the Lehigh Valley for many years.

Changing entry doors is something that many people can typically do by themselves but the age of the home and the peculiar layout of the entry pushed us to use professionals. Once we decided on using Hess we were placed on the schedule. The work was completed over a couple day period. Overall, the workers were very professional and treated our house with respect.

The entire process is very expensive but the final product has allowed us to experience a greater level of temperature comfort in our entire down stairs. The look, and feel of the doors is second to none. When you feel these doors and then those sold by the big box stores you understand the difference in cost. We are pleased with the investment and the work completed by Hess.
