Static Balancing Ways are designed to detect out-of-balance conditions in parts such as grinding wheels, pump impellers, boat and airplane propellers, fans, flywheels, crankshafts and other rotating parts. Our Tru-Checker models have been designed for checking straightness and for use in the inspection of run out and trueness. All frame dimensions are the same as our standard static balancing stands. The Model 5 Tubular Style is available in three different lengths, and our Original Solid Shank comes in three different widths.

A&W Precision was founded in 1994, after acquiring the time-tested hand scraper and static balancing way product lines from Anderson Brothers Manufacturing. A&W Precision has a commitment to supplying dependable metalworking tools at a reasonable price. After twenty years as A&W Precision, we continue to meet our customer's need for quality products and dependable value. The craft of hand scraping is an essential part of rebuilding, maintaining the accuracy, and increasing the life cycle of machine tools.
Co., 1910 Kishwaukee St., Rockford, Ill., has recently placed on the market the hand scraper here illustrated which is provided with blades made from the same special steel as those furnished on the Anderson pneumatic scraper. It is claimed that blades made from this special steel have a high degree of hardness, hold an exceptionally keen edge, and do not scratch.
The Anderson Original Solid Shank Scraper is now available with a new more rounded hard wood handle. We have adapted the Anderson Brothers Manufacturing design by improving overall comfort and helping to reduce fatigue. Blades are held on the steel scraper body by a durable hardened blade clamp. Grooves machined into this clamp allow the scraper hand to adjust the length of blade that extends beyond the end of the shank. The more the blade is extended the more flex the scraper will have.
The Anderson Model 5 Tubular Scraper is crafted from seamless steel tubing to provide a light weight strong and durable scraper. The smooth rounded edges coupled with a rounded hardwood handle have made this the choice of professionals and hobbyist alike dating back to the days of Anderson Brothers Manufacturing. Each person will develop their own preferences and the key is to use the length that feels best.
