Great product selection but a process that is not customer friendly. You can select product in the showroom but you, as a customer need to walk around to the other side of the building to place your order. If In stock you can then go to another door to pick up. So as a customer that's 3 steps and 3 folks to interact with. As an employee the company overexposed their employees to customers. No one person is the ambassador of their brand to the client.

Walked in with $3K tile budget for a small powder room. After 20 minutes of looking at the displays and wondering why the 4 staff members thought it more important to talk among themselves at the counter than to acknowledge me, I left. I went to a tile store on SE 3rd Ave and received outstanding service along with my business.

When starting a bathroom remodel, we were pretty overwhelmed. We went into United Tile because they carried the shower and floor tile we were looking for. We found exactly what we needed and received amazing customer service and advice on our upcoming project. The guys in the warehouse were helpful and friendly!

I entered the showroom and wandered, waiting for someone to assist me. I then stood next to a woman who was working with a few bags. She stopped, looked at me and said, "Ugh, just cleaning up Christmas decorations here." The two women behind the countered looked up at her and went right back to what they were doing. Five minutes later one of them finally asked me."Have you been helped?". By then service had been rendered to two other customers who entered the store. Not impressed.too little help offered too late. Clearly customer service is not important.

Our contractor recommended that we visit United Tile to look at their selection of tiles. Their showroom is fantastic. There are so many ideas for different tiles. We went in on a Saturday first and the showroom was very busy. We recommend making an appointment when you really want to make selections, because then you can get time spent with just you and your project and you have all these fabulous people around to help you!

One star because I had to, and because pretty tile. I paid extra for express delivery. Not only was not delivered express, delivery deadline was postponed twice. Tile setter is waiting for two weeks, entire job deadline getting pushed back. NOT HAPPY. Someone dropped the ball in a big way and only my rep at Great Floors seems interested in making it right. Suggest them only if you don't need special order or anything shipped.

Visited United Tile twice. The first time, they were quite busy, and none of the sales people asked if I needed help. So I decided to leave and return at a less busy time. I did so the next day, and was the only customer in the show room. Again, no one asked if I needed help. After 10 minutes (and still no help) and older gentleman came into the showroom, and he was attended to immediately. After 10 more minutes (yup, still no help), I left. Maybe if I show up with my husband I'll get some customer service.

The showroom was reasonably helpful and I found the tile I needed, but the ordering process leaves much to be desired. I took home samples and called back to order, providing them with my contractor's name, my name, credit card number, etc. It has taken 5-6 phone calls and well over 2 hours for them to actually get the order placed, because of mistakes in their call center and other screw ups. Unless they are the only source for the tile you need, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Gorgeous, gorgeous stuff. I had a very good experience in this showroom looking for field and accent tiles after getting a glimpse of their standard options at other local shops. Visiting on a Saturday morning is a little crazy though, and there is competition to get assistance from their sales personnel. But, once I was assigned someone, she was very helpful and had lots of suggestions.
The website is a bit clunky, but still helpful rooting through the thousands of combinations and patterns. They have some standard tiles and patterns in stock, but most orders and all custom blends are made to order and require some lead time. We ended up choosing some gorgeous rhomboid tiles and borders from United Tile after endless searching through other providers. I was able to check-out some samples to take home and could return them to United Tile or our contact at Contract Furnishing Mart, which saved me the drive.

Even though this showroom is clear across town from me, I always make a point of visiting when I am in need of tile. Their show room is well-organized and enormous. Since they do not sell directly to the public, there is never any pressure to buy. A few years ago, I found the perfect fireplace tile here, which has left me with a fondness for United Tile, despite the inconsistent customer service I have experienced here.
Back then, I had a particularly helpful associate who suggested I mix my tile randomly 80% main color, and 20% slightly different color to overcome a problem I was having matching field tile to decorative elements on the fireplace. I never would have considered this, and it was the perfect solution. Much of what they carry is out of my price range, but it is still worth it to come and look for inspiration.
It can get very, very crowded, however, and sometimes there simply are not enough staff there to accommodate the general neediness of the clientele. Nice showroom to wander for inspiration and interesting new materials.

We had an excellent experience at United Tile. We walked in with a sample of our countertop material looking for an idea for flooring. The salesperson helped us focus on the right material for the era of our house, showed us examples of designs we could utilize in our small(ish) space and recommended color schemes as well. The best part was, she didn't actually try to sell us anything.
She really seemed to enjoy the process of consulting with us and finding solutions for our needs. If we ever get around to updating our 2nd bathroom, we'll definitely come back to United Tile for help.

This tile store is truly amazing! They have such a huge selection of ceramic tiles, glass tiles, stone tiles. you name it and they'll have some version of it. If you want to find awesome tiles, this place has more than what you'll ever need. The huge downside to this store are the sales associates. They simply are too good to talk to anyone.
I walked into the door, made eye contact with a sales associate and was not acknowleged. I continued to browse for another ten minutes without any help. Someone finally acknowledged me after I walked past the sales desk. She was semi-helpful but was not very nice. It's a great tile store but too bad the customer service isn't up to par.
