I had recently purchased a home that already had a contracted window install with Window World from the Sellers. I was extremely skeptical bc we didn't have a choice of the windows, nor the company to purchase and install. My family and I went into this with our prayers up and fingers crossed. Like with any business, the reviews can be mixed, which can also be misleading.
What a blessing and pleasant experience we actually had with Window World! There were representatives that called to schedule. There were separate representatives that reached out prior to installers coming out. There were representatives that checked on us during and after the installation. All in all, I was contacted by and had access to 5 Customer Service Professionals.
All of which took time and care with any questions or concerns I could possibly have. The installers were professionals, and overall, I was thoroughly impressed. Most companies "throw you away" once they're done and have been paid. Window World initiated follow ups days after the installers were gone! The smallest of my concerns they were willing to address with maximum care and effort. I currently have six windows that I desire to upgrade. I already have Window World professionals saved in my phone!

The process from interview to install was very professional. WW cane out to check and measure windows, go over pricing and process. It was supposed to take 16 weeks to get my windows in; however, they came in within 4 weeks. They were installed the very next week. Installed were very professional and polite. Windows look great! Please avoid Window World of Baton Rouge for Vinyl Siding installations. They claim that they "specialize" in Vinyl Siding, yet I've had to supervise them for a large portion of this project, WAY MORE than I bargained for. "I the customer, " shouldn't have to make sure you are installing your products correctly. I have been in a constant dispute with this company for months trying to get my installation up to manufacturer standards so that if any issue arises after my labor warranty expires, my promised limited lifetime warranty will not be voided by the manufacturer due to improper installation.
Although they have been responsive for some of my concerns, the rest go ignored. The project started off with a few hiccups that were forgivable such as the estimator incorrectly counted the amount of windows to wrap, which they resolved. Before this installation, I was under the impression Window World of Baton Rouge was a locally owned franchise that I could trust.
This installation is less than a year old and I've had constant issues since the end of last year due to shoddy workmanship. Window World of Baton Rouge claims that their installers are "factory trained" and that their siding comes with a 2 year labor warranty & lifetime limited warranty for materials. Unfortunately, they do not install their products per manufacturer guidelines, which voids the siding's lifetime limited warranty.
So if any issue arises after this labor period expires I will be responsible for 100% of the costs for the materials. The installers take zero care for the materials as they are being installed. (Ex. damaging brackets, missing nail slots, nailing directly through material, leaving no expansion gaps, improperly fastening and face nailing material) I have been trying to address this since day one.
I the customer should not have to be a supervisor. Basic vinyl siding installation instructions were being completely ignored until I complained enough. I tried to address my concerns during the install and I was told, "If I know so much, why don't I just install it myself." This is the age of the Internet and YouTube, you don't have to look hard to find the correct procedures.
Even now I try to address these issues and I get told, "This is the way we have done it for 10 years, and we have never had a problem." After my labor warranty runs out, I will not be covered by the manufacturer for many components of this installation if any issues arises unless Window World of Baton Rouge fixes ALL of these issues. I feel forced to accept this shoddy job by the company. Dealing with Window World of Baton Rouge has been a horrible experience.
Will never hire again for any future jobs. According to the Associated Materials Warranty Department (siding manufacturer), the latest warranty claim by Window World was DENIED due to a improper installation.

I guess it starts with the guy who comes out and measures. Apparently the one that did our measurements was pretty good. All 6 of the windows were installed very well. We did order double hung windows that were bronze on the outside and white on the inside, so it took longer, (at least 12 weeks? maybe?) but worth the wait. The crew that came out and installed them left almost no debris.
There were a few scratches on the window casings and at least one screen has a small hole in it. I have not inspected the windows very close. Overall, because I own a small business, deal with homeowners on a daily basis and provide a quality service myself, my opinion is that perfection is never achieved on any job. Considering the quality of the windows and the quality of the work vs the price I paid, I am very happy with the whole experience.
Good job Window World! Update: I found one screw hole cover missing on one window. Maybe Window World will send me one so I can snap it in place? Maybe not. Updare: Window World did send somebody out to replace the missing screw cover. Good job!

It was amazing first of all that all the windows were done in one day. The workers came in, set up and immediately started to work. There was no idle talking or standing around. They did what they needed to do. My husband said they had a good system (one was taking the old windows out then someone came behind them and put the new ones in). They cleaned up the broken glass and other debris and swept up as well. And after the installation was complete, they cleaned each window. I am very pleased with the service and the windows.

Window World did a great job replacing all of the sad, old windows on our house. Installation was quick, workers were courteous and didn't leave a huge mess. The J-channels weren't installed properly. There are big gaps on one end filled with excessive caulking and overhang on the other end. It's sloppy and messy looking. Not at all like the pictures the salesman showed me. This is only 1 window. I had 7 installed. They sent someone out and he said this is how it's supposed to look. Would not recommend their service!

The crew that installed our windows went above and beyond. Very professional, nice, and knowledgeable. And they cleaned up nicely afterwards. Would definitely recommend! The supervisor called to let me know the crew was on the way and the crew had already arrived. Another person called to check and see how the installation went and the supervisor also stopped at the house to check on things. Great communication!

From beginning to the end of this process I couldn't be happier! My house looks fabulous with my new windows! The installers came and worked so hard. They completely cleaned up all of the old windows and mess. I have recommended Window World to anybody that even remotely acts like they need new windows or are interested. So very very pleased with my windows!

I've noticed my house is unusually humid. After going around and checking all of my Window World windows, several of them were not locked. In fact, they won't lock and seal which allows the humid Louisiana air in my home. Not to mention, the safety risk. For the cost, the windows should lock. It's ridiculous. I should have kept my 30 year old windows.

I am very pleased with my new windows and with the customer service provided by Window World. I was told they would take 12 weeks or more but came in 7 weeks which was a huge plus (I have 26 windows so that's awesome). I will definitely be using them again in the future and I recommend you use them too. Nothing like new windows to make a statement on your home.

Windows are completely cracked open from a horrible caulk job these guys did on a $3,000+ job. This job is only 4 years old. (See other reviews) and Window World STILL has not called or emailed me back. The men they had at our house smelled like cigarettes and were rushing to get out of here despite us paying $3,000+ for our ENTIRE house to have new windows.
Multiple rooms in the house have huge cracks between the window and wall. Their customer service is non existent. They responded on a review that would call and make this right and never did. I have called them and gotten no return call. I spoke to one woman who was so rude and hung up on me. They never emailed me back. Their website only shows the good reviews. Do not trust these people.
