Just truly obnoxious and self-important human beings there. an absurd level of "appointment-only" covid theater when, even before covid, there were never more than 5 customers in that massive warehouse at a time. pick up samples there but order similar materials from somewhere else. never spend a dime there.

Nice clean new store! They're still building up their inventory, but still! Nice selection, brand new show room, small and intimate (one on one) service. Stone Source is THE only upscale store on the Northshore! Unique, well crafted, of the moment merchandise is an available here. You will find marble, granite, stone, and unique tiles. Wonderful pieces that will stir your creative juices.
The staff will go in extra mile to find that special something that you've been searching for. Just ask they will look for you! Quality does not come cheap. They are competitive. If you're just going to put something down temporary and have money to burn go ahead because they have lovely things here! Only thing missing is a glass of champagne!
Even though I found a tile I liked. When the sample I bought arrived. I was very disappointed in the company who manufactured these tiles. They were uneven, glazes were not matching and I decided not to take any chances. This was faulty manufacturing by company of the handmade tiles was not up to my standards for the price. I do not hold that against the store.
I believe they have great intentions to bring quality and unusual, beautiful pieces. Since most objects are mass produced. It is hard to gage quality of new sources. The tile makers should be held accountable. Everything else was beautiful but I just decided to go elsewhere. All in all, I was pleased with my experience here. I would recommend checking this place out if you want find beautiful merchandise that is close by.

Walked in and wondered around the very sad and limited show room for 20 minutes. I was the only person there. No sales person spoke to me. They stayed in their work area behind the desk clicking away at their computers. i finally left and went to Jim Stone in Lacombe where I purchased all the stone I needed to tile my fireplace, pool deck, patio and master bath. They missed out on a BIG BIG sale! I can't believe they're still in business.

Actually I give Stone Source a BIG ZERO stars! When I first talked to Ed about an estimate to completions of the installation. I knew I should of not gone with this company. They were the lowest bid. But, after I picked out my stone. Ed suggested I order another slab to make the pattern cohesive. Which in turn made my project $1800 more. Then they miss measured the back splash on the breakfast bar.
That made the bar part with a 1" gap between the cabinet. I called at least 12 times and talked to "Kelly" who assured me that the owner would return my call. Never received a call. I had to hire a finish carpenter to cover the 1" gap. I took over the receipt for $350. And again called multiple times to ask about reimbursement. Nothing. I paid them over $11,000. For my kitchen counters. You would think they would guarantee their work as stated on their website.
