Aluminum Coatings Manufacturers, Inc. (ALCM) has been servicing the Midwest, Northeast United States, and Canada with high quality coatings for close to 60 years. In 1954, ALCM began as a manufacturer of aluminum roof coatings and paints. An ambitious man by the name of Richard Kaplan bought ALCM in 1970 and moved the company to its present location on Bessemer Avenue.
ALCM coatings should not be thinned in any way. Thinning the product will decrease the quality and tamper with the physical properties of the coating. This results in shortened longevity and potential failure of the applied product. Thinning ALCM coatings with solvents is a violation of VOC laws and regulations.
